**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

Can I use it at full resolution?

Hi guys

Quick question.

I have a Sony Vaio laptop, model number VPCF13S0E, details at http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/specifications/index.aspx?m=VPCF13S0E_B&l=en_GB

The support pages show the max resolution external display as 1920 x 1200. Does this mean that I would not be able to use this monitor at full native resolution? It's an NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M GPU.

Would quite like to make the most of the cheap deal while it's still on today if possible, but no point if I can't actually make the most of the monitor!

The Sony laptop only has HDMI and VGA ports. I guess that means that I need to get the A model rather than C?

Your response is appreciated, thanks!

You could only use the HZ27WA with HDMI or VGA at that resolution [image will be interpolated]. Ideally, you need a pc/laptop capable of supporting the full resolution with a Dual Link DVI connector to really experience the brilliance of this display.

Thanks Hazro for the quick response. I guess I will have to wait until you come out with a 24" at that resolution! :D

Thanks again.

do you get dvi splitter cables? so you can plug 2 sources into 1 dvi and switch easily between them?
I'd love a 27" ips but i cant justify binning a perfectly good 24" hazro; no room for 2 screens.

It's still saying "Order Status: Printed in our warehouse" for me, so I'm still not sure if I'm going to get it this week...

Is it the glassless version you bought? If so would you be able to take pics of it and tell us what you think of it as a whole? :)

In addition, if you have the time and equipment, please record some video showing the monitor from various angles and put it on YouTube.

Thanks

I've just received my non-glass 'C' model.

Picture quality is stunning! The screen does have a gloss coating but not over the top. Very nice indeed and seems pretty well calibrated out of the box. It probably needs a few notches down on the brightness.

The quality of the stand is average and I'll be going for the after-market version when it's available. My other problem is that like some other Nvidia graphics card owners I'm getting no resolution or refresh rate info in control panel. The monitor is showing up as a 'Syncmaster' and is also being shown as non-HDCP compliant.

Other than that I'm a very happy bunny :)

Im pretty sure hazro do a screen with very thin bezel as well.
Yes according to their website the B model has tiny bezels and metal casing, not plastic.

Just received my monitor and OH DEAR GO IT'S INSANITY!
Love it!
Worth the wait!
Can't see any defective pixels.

One thing though, I'm having trouble adjusting the stand, can't seem to get it to face straight forward, just seems to face back down when I move it up. Anyone else having this issue/know what I'm doing wrong?

Just received mine (WA non glass) will post a You tube video later with my views. It looks gorgeous.

The 2H glare coating is shiny and reflective but less so than my previous 20" NEC 20WGX2Pro which is good news as no horrible AG coating like the Dell u2711 which is too "grainy" for my tastes.

In order to tilt the screen I gripped the metal column which plugs into the plastic base and the top of the screen and tilted the screen back. It is very stiff. I wouldn't try and tilt by holding the plastic base!

The 20WGX2 is my current monitor, would you say if I went with model you did it would compare with the NEC for image clarity, cheers.
