What makes a monitor HDCP compliant?
What makes a monitor HDCP compliant?
More to the point is there ever going to be an update to allow us ATi 5XXX series users to see BIOS? Monitor is useless if it doesn't show screens and I'm stuck trying to test components with a crappy 15" monitor because my lovely 27" won't work
The off/stand by button is on the back right hand side of the monitor.
Coming from my BenQ FP241W PVA screen the image quality is a little better but not as dramatic as some say.
The backlight can be adjusted by the buttons under the power button. I missed them too at first don't worry
I came from a TN screen, although I think it was a rare breed of 8bit because the colour straight on isn't really any better or worse on either panel and I couldn't see any sign of dithering, the viewing angles though are incredible and I don't regret my purchase.
- points:
I'm not sure if this is the viewing angle or light bleed but when sat centrally, the bottom side areas look lighter and not black. If you move to look directly at these area's it goes away a bit so I guess it could be a combination of both. This kind of thing doesn't bother me too much but it was a bit distracting if the screen was black. Will do a test tonight for any light bleeding through.
From your description is just sounds like IPS glow to me. I get exactly the same thing on mine and mine has no backlight bleed at all. It's one of the downsides of an IPS screen.
