**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

**Quick update for those considering purchasing this monitor**

Bought the glassed version. As great as it is, after using it for 3 weeks i can say the excessive reflection when my light is on, or when there is plenty of daylight present in the room, is distracting to the point that i am regretting my purchase.

In hindsight i would definitely consider the non-glass version.

Just a user-related opinion - please don't be offended in any way [glassed version owners] :(

cheers

Yeah, I can see that being a problem in a well-lighted room but trust me, you'll get used to it.

I'm becoming more concerned about the build quality of my unit. The bezel is not even remotely flush with the screen.

If I look down to where the on/off light is I can see the light itself and there is a pretty big gap.

Can anyone else confirm if their unit is the same please?

Quick Q regarding the WC version (the model with no scalers), think I already know the answer though :(

Can it accept an input at resolutions other than native? i.e 720/1080p through a HDMI->DVI cable. New build/set-up will include some console gaming on the PS3, so will need at least 1 monitor capable of 720p/1080p over HDMI or DVI.

Alternative is the WA model @ £130 extra, or another screen (24" 1080p) for multitasking/console use :D

I wanted to verify a question I had about the Hazro monitors. Since this monitor is made in the UK if I were to buy one and have it shipped to the USA, I'm guessing I will need to get a power converter from 220v to 120v correct?

The WC only has a DVI ports, I tried using an hdmi - dvi adapter with my PS3 but I got no picture, so I guess the answer is no.

hi guys,
going to order 1 today. is the non glass 1 got a coated screen like the dells.i hate the coating why i fancy the glass 1,no window behind me or to the side, whats the cons of non glass ? iss the picture less clear?
thanks

A glossy coating by nature causes 'glare' because it reflects everything, which is why anti glare coated screens are matte.

However, the website says 'Gloss coating 2H' itself, so it's likely either worded poorly or just purely wrong on the box.

Well just got my first one a H27WC non-glass set up along with one of the new PC builds.
Observations so far:

1) With an XFX 5830 on a clean install BIOS will not display on the Hazro. Fix: used another screen to set up BIOS
2) Win7 installed using alternative screen, still didn't display on Hazro. Fix installed ATI drivers.
3) Case does impinge slightly on the DVI cable of the monitor slightly. Fix bend the cable a little around the impinging part of the case.
4) Only used it briefly but can't see any pixel problems.
5) Nice vibrant screen colours/viewing angles are very good.
6) Stand could do with being a little heavier but overall quality seems really good for £379, it's not a £700-800 monitor ;)

Overall very happy :)
