**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

Well, I received my non-glass version yesterday and the screen is absolutely amazing. immediate things I look for is dead pixels and light bleed. I can honestly say I cant find any dead pixels. There is only a tiny bit of light bleed from the bottom right had side, barely noticeable on black background.

Goodness knows how the glass version enriches the viewing experience further.

Only negative for me is the stand. The screen wants to lean forward ever so slightly because it is so poor. Not the end of the world though and nothing a few beer mats can't fix!

Edit: Hazro HZ27WC 8-Bit 27" LED Widescreen Professional Monitor - Black

C or A?

If A how's the gaming performance?

AH man!

I'm itching to Order a monitor! Mine is driving me up the wall!

Only thing stopping me right now is the list of HDCP working graphics cards. if my GTX 470 is on it I might even order the glass C version today!

Yeah. I hear you. I'm so ready to sell both my U23's and grab one of these, maybe getting another down the road.

It'll be a sad day when I can't max out Crysis anymore, but god it'll worth it.

I'd sacrifice Maxed out Crysis to stop seeing this on a regular basis during the day.

I've had the last straw and it's extremely annoying when it happens when gaming.

Sorry I should have said, I have the "C"

Gaming is very good, certainly no noticeable ghosting (have played black ops, BFBC2, KOTOR & Company of heroes). I am adjusting to the additional real estate.

Well it seems my hand has been forced. I ordered the monitor.

My current one just went mental again and went black. It's dead.
Grabbed my old ladies monitor in the meantime to use.
Using a 7 year old BenQ 19" lcd is dreadful at the moment.

Here's hoping my screen arrives on the 18th as showen on my order.

Which one did ya order again?

I ended up going for the HZ27WC Glass, it cost me €503, I would have prefered the HZ27WA but there's no way I'm paying just over €650 at the moment.

I need to upgrade the pc later this year as well.

Here's hoping that HDCP works with my GTX 470 and that I don't get any scratches or scuffs like some other folks.

Sounds good. I'm considering that or the A version, glass.

Pics would be appreciated too. ;)

Will do!

I'll be testing it a bit, games, pictures, movies and of course popping in a Blu-Ray and seeing if that HDCP works. It's the only thing still really nagging me. Since some cards apparently work and others don't.

At least the glass version will be easier to clean LOL.

And it may not suffer from that whole power LED showing up through the bezel problem too. ;)

But yeah, I like the idea of it being sealed in... plus the glass front would be kinda cool anyway.

Although I may have to start turning my light off since I have the light source behind me hahaha, good thing that the whole monitor in the dark ruining your eyes thing is an old wives tale. But who knows, maybe if the glare is really bad I will be forced to take the non glass, haha. Although, if I remember correctly, the glossy displays only really reflect natural light badly, right? room lighting wouldn't be that big of a deal? I can easily shut my blinds if need be.

A glass front will reflect anything, as you are adding an extra reflective layer to the screen.

My phone is glass fronted (as most are these days) and that happy reflects room lights like no tomorrow if they are anywhere near by. Same would apply to the screen.

Many new TV's have a glass front and the glare really isn't so bad.
My college spent a small fortune on mac pros and their cinema hd screens, along with a few extra screen because they're very good quality for the design students.

The Apple Cinema screen uses the same LG panel as the Hazro so if that's any indication it shouldn't suffer that badly from glare. Also Hazro stated in OCUK that there's an AG coating on both the Glass and Non-Glass monitors.

Still tempted by the glass c version but will a 6950 be enough for gaming on the screen. I play L4D2 crysis2 and F1 2010.

I don't see why it should struggle at all, unless you want to max them out 100%. The Left 4 Dead engine isn't that advanced to begin with either.

Edit## OCUK says my order is COMPLETE. So hopefully that means it'll arrive Monday.

It might not max them out, but if you OC it to a 6970 perhaps it could then.

You could tone down AA to get that extra juice out too, since the pixel pitch is so small. 2xAA would probably look the same as 4. Maybe. :D
