**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

Well it seems DPD are completely useless just as stated by the vast majority of their reviews.

Their tracking had my order at their Hub 3 in Birmingham on Sunday. Tracking stopped and it seems it hasn't even made it to Ireland yet. As I called the office in Ireland and the depot near me and they don't have any record of my order even entering Ireland yet.

Seems I'll be lucky if I receive before Thursday they said.

I think I've switched my mind now. Deliberating on the C non-glass version (monitor would face centre of my room with the 3x 402 halogen light source, which would probably explode with reflections). And I think DarkBahmut is right about the glass, although does it say on Hazro's site that the glass is untreated?

Any last opinions to sway me into a buy? Need to get it ordered by the end of tomorrow if I want that nice offer price on the non glass.

Only thing I don't like is how the bezel isn't flush with the screen. At least on the glass version that would be sealed. On the non glass it sounds like crap could build up down there. :(

I have the non glass C version and couldn't be happier. There are one or two niggles like the bezel not sitting flush and the average stand, but still a lot of bang for your buck IMO. Picture quality is awesome and for me that's the most important thing. :)

It went up because it says there's only one left in stock.

They're trying to make an extra buck.

Noticed that after I posted it, but still.

I'm guessing ETA on new screens is 4 weeks, ffs.

Ordered one anyway since it's still on offer... how big is the spacing in the bezel from the screen? Is it really big or just exaggerated? Haven't seen any clear pics that show it properly

Also, pics of the glass screen when you get it please. I may still reconsider if I do end up waiting for weeks for new stock.

Interesting answer concerning wc out of stock state on main site:

"Dear *,

Many thanks for showing interest in Hazro monitors. The HZ27WC is due back early next month. The only change will be making is to the Power Supply which will be changed to allow an open input voltage - we did this to aide sales in the USA where they use 120V as opposed to the 230~240V we use in Europe. If you are based in Europe, we recommend purchasing from wherever is possible as the above change won't affect you."

I'll certainly put some pics up, that's if it arrives this week.

If my some chance it arrives tomorrow I won't be in town since I need to head to Dublin. Ugh DPD,

Is the dust issue with the glass version still happening or has it been resolved?
If not then ill pick one up next time its sub £400.

Reflections are not an issue with my setup and from what I gather those two points are its only down sides?

My monitor just arrived lads.

Here's the HDCP Status wit my GTX470

Not happy about that, hopefully Hazro can get a fix for it. Currently taking some photos.

Also my Monitor is right next to a window here at home and I don't suffer too much from reflextions when the curtains are drawn, it's actually less then my old Glossy AcerP243w.

There is no dust that I can see, at all.
I'm taking pics now, although you'll have to excuse them as they're with an old Blackberry.

Curtains Open

Curtains closed and on OCUK, reflections nearly gone now.

Here's the only little imperfection I found

Looks like a dead or stuck pixel, although it's on a spot that's barely seen anyway.

Get a 30 day trial of Passkey and hope Hazro sort it out by then. Alas, my 30 days is up.

Oh thanks, just downloaded that and it works perfectly.

I have to state this monitor beats the pants off of my old one in terms of quality.
I've played a bit of the Witcher 2 and it's breathtaking how vivid the colours are.

Movies also look very good, no backlight bleeding and the blacks are a rich dark black.

Well, turns out OCUK got stock in today and I got a shipping notification, should be here in a couple of days.

Oh well, didn't get to change my mind in time haha. I'll try it out and we'll see how it goes from there.

@ N19h7m4r3

Looks very good m8!

Cant wait to get mine... Did your delivery information change on the website before delivery?

Not at all. I called my local depot and even though I didn't have an Irish consignment number they just asked for my name and address and check the drivers list to see if I was on.

An hour later the guy showed up at my house.

What are your system specs, and how well did it play?

AMD Phenom II 940 3.0GHz
8GB DDR2 800MHz
GTX 470
Hazro 27" HZ27WC
Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB
Sumsung F3 2TB

The game runs very well, it's not as smooth as it use to be, although everything is still set to high. Along with AA, which I can easily drop to get some more frames.

I'll be getting a new system later in the year depending how good Bulldozer is.

Cheers for that.

I'll ring them in the morning first thing. I'm running a GTX285 hopefully if will run ok. Not planning on upgrading until BF3.

It's about the same for me really. My current system is just about good enough.

I'll be checking tomorrow how it runs other games, so far I'm extremely impressed by the monitor. Specially for movies.
