**HAZRO HZ27WA & HZ27WC ARRIVING SOON INCLUDING NONE-GLASS VERSIONS!**

Good explanation :-)

However I am a bit concerned that I wont be able to play Blu-Ray movies form my PC on the WC. I read somewhere on this thread I think , that there is a workaround bit I also read that it didnt work for another person .... any ideas ?

Oh yeah, you use a program (forgot the name) to remove the HDCP requirement. Should work.

DVDFab Passkey, it's brilliant. You can use it 30 days free before you need to even consider buying it.

Quick and efficient alright.

Which is better for general use, glass or none glass? (HZ27WC) My monitor back is facing the windows so reflections arnt really a problem.

Do they still have the 'dust under screen' issue?

Okay, we went over this a while back, and it was finally deemed that the glass doesn't really add anything at all, and could actually be detrimental to the picture very slightly since it's another object for your eyes to look through. The monitor was originally designed without the glass, until hazro tried it out and decided it looked 'cool' and made the monitor look more expensive. Make of that what you will. The dust problems are fixed, but the glass screen really does add a crapload of reflections. Users of it on here don't really mind it, but I think they expected it so became tolerant. Some wish they got the non glass. The only pro of the non glass I can give, is that it'll prevent dust getting into the gap of the bezel, but then again, I still can't fathom how with one guy the dust actually got behind the screen and was visible. As far as I'm aware, due to the way the screens are made, that shouldn't be possible at all.

All in all however, I'd still go with non glass. The reflections are almost eliminated when displaying images as the LED backlight is far brighter than the reflections.

And dear god, someone please buy this monitor ASAP and comment on the issue please. I really wanna buy one this week because of the price drop.

Thanks for the info. But thats was a mighty speech to say you havent actually seen the glass or non glass in person side by side

After much though i've gone for the WA and should be here friday it all came down to resale value at the end off the day and i was saving £75 and £125 over the WD which only has a extra display port Fingers crossed this has been one hard choice :o

I take it that with the glass version, it's also impossible to 'massage' out dead sub-pixels by rubbing gently near the affected area. I've had success with that with my current monitor.

I have a non-glass version and it's just about right. In bright sunlight from my window (to the left of me) I can see myself a bit but the image is still fine. For me I think the glass version would be way too much. Love my non-glass, works a treat and is an awesome monitor :D
