Any known issues using this card with the Hazro.

The double imaging every other time I boot is getting on my t*ts.

Currently using an ATI 4850. No gaming, just for watching HD material and a bit of hardware acceleration for converting video files. Im assuming that all current 6 series cards can manage the high res of these screens.

The double image issue on a 4 series card is not a known fault from what I understand.

5 series cards don't display a BIOS and also reboot your machine in a cycle with the monitor plugged in.

I havn't heard any issues with the 6 series although these screens have other issues that havm't been acknowledged and anything could happen!

maybe i just had a faulty one then because mine was doing it on loads of different sites to different degrees and sound pitches. Or maybe im just an OCD loser who picks up on everything lol

I've just noticed it doing it on a Wikipedia page, just not as loud.

If it gets any louder then that would be extremely annoying.

I'll see what happens.

That was exactly my issue mate, some sites were making it noisier than others so when i was flicking between tabs it was changing in pitch and sounding like a **** synthesizer lol

Since the Hazro monitors are on TWO I was looking at getting the Hazro HZ27WD but can't decide between glass or not :(. Reflections are not an issue as my pc is in a dimly lit room but thanks to this thread I'm worried I would be getting one that's grey with dust.

I wouldn't buy the glass version if I were you. I had the glass version, and there was some dust. This, + the fact that the glass doesn't add anything in terms of picture quality, I'd go with the non-glass version.

A week ago I sent my monitor back to Hazro. They received it on Thursday. Yesterday I sent a mail asking for the progress. Today I received a mail back from Hazro saying that they're waiting for the engineers report. If I get a replacement, they will sent me a non-glass version instead of the glass version which I sent in because they stopped producing them. That's fine to me because I've had some dust issues with my first Hazro HZ27WC Glass.
I've got to say, the support has improved since 2012. They always replied to my e-mails withing a day. Now they just have to send me a replacement, and I'll be a very happy Hazro costumer. :)

Just looking at the 27" 8bit version pretty nice, is it worth the £359 though? :p

It certainly is! But be aware that it's the glass version that costs £359. They're probably that cheap because Hazro has stopped producing the glass version and because some people have dust behind the glass. Despite this fact it's a great price for the monitor, and it'll be totally worth it. And, if there's really too much dust, you can always send it back under DSR.

I'm tempted by the WD once again, theres currently no similar spec monitors out there... but in the back of my mind I'm thinking that I have RMAed 3 of these Hazros in the last 6 months....

Well, there is the Dell U2711. If you don't mind the rather aggressive AG coating, that would be a good option. If you want glossy, there is the Apple Cinema Display. Samsung also announced a new glossy monitor, I don't know when it will be available.
Here's a list of all the 27" 2560x1440 monitors: (These are affordable, there are some really expensive monitors meant for photo editing for example that are not in this list)

Dell Ultrasharp U2711
HP ZR2740w
Samsung Syncmaster S27A850D
Hazro HZ27WC/D
Apple Cinema Display

hey thanks for that list - wish I could really see what all of these looked like in person or hey is there a place that reviews these least how they look glossy etc?

Apple = Glossy/Glass
Hazro = Glossy and optionally glass (while it lasts)
Samsung = Matte but not as bad as the Dell or HP
HP = Fairly horrible coating
Dell = The worst coating

I am incredibly tempted to get the 27WC, I am currently using an Nvidia 465... anyone know of any existing problems with this setup?

Cheers
