If you don't have a dual-link DVI output you're better off getting the HZ27WD. The only exception to that might be if you have displayport and are willing to buy a rather pricey displayport -> dual link DVI converter.Just been looking up the WC in more detail and I noticed that there is only one input and no aspect ratio control. I would like two inputs, but this does not really matter. However my laptop only has VGA output, would I be able to connect via a converter. In addition how does the monitor respond to 4:3 inputs and inputs that are not 2560 x 1440?
All other converters not only cost more than the price difference between the WC and WD but they wont do 2560x1440 without upscaling either.
That's a rather personal question isn't it?Do you know if you are coming without any problems lately?
With the glass version you added dust behind the glass to the list of potential issues. Yes, the full list of potential issues hasn't gone down with a new revision or anything.
The only thing I can remember that was supposed to remedy one of the problems is Hazro moving the glass-model production to a higher class clean room (a dust free room) but there's still been dust complaints after that. Not to mention I can't even find the post that mentioned that so I might just have dreamed it up.
Never understood why they bothered with glass models in the first place as it only adds potential issues and costs while it does nothing but look a little bit more aesthetically pleasing to a percentage of their customers. Perhaps it was to compete with the only other glossy IPS screen on the market, the Apple Cinema display.
