Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

so it is still more than one pixel?

i guess like others if one pixel gets stuck for me that £400-500 whatever price would be wasted, also who will buy a monitor with even one dead pixel? i know i wouldnt, shame really i would have loved to have a glossy and matte 27 16:9 monitor

id rather pay a hundred or 2 more and get the peace of mind guarantee, guess the only option is another u2711

no matter what the inspection quality is like, you could buy it and a month later a pixel gets stuck, too risky!

There are a lot of people that are waiting for these monitors under the idea that they would be available to order about now. We have all showed patience (albeit grumbling patience) in waiting up to now, but this could be a missed opportunity for sales if people decide not to wait any longer and opt for Dell, for example.

All we are asking from Hazro is a realistic time frame. If it's going to be another month, then say that, don't lead people on with unrealistic time frames.

all, i should have the DVI-only HZ27WC with me tomorrow for further testing. I'll update the review when i have completed it.

A slight amendment to the HZ27WA review in that the screen does come with an HDMI cable as well. Hazro have confirmed the default factory settings for contrast and gamma have been made to the retail stock as well. I'll try and get confirmation about time scales

Sorry, so that means they come already calibrated?
Would that be same for C version?

it means that they have fixed the issue i found with default settings returning poor contrast and black depth, and needing to find the right balance of digital white and black level adjustments. they have also reportedly factory calibrated to 2.2 gamma, 120 cd/m2 brightness and 6500k white point.

There's no OSD settings to change on the HZ27WC so you would hope this is set up at factory for optimum performance, certainly there's no way to improve contrast ratio if they havent. i'll test this with the HZ27WC when i receive it :)

Thanks for all the hard work.

I'm keenly awaiting test results / review on the HZ27WC!

A good 8-bit IPS monitor in this size/resolution is what's required.
