Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

yeah the black depth and contrast ratio on the HZ26Wi was very poor and there was no true control of the backlight available so it was a bit of a nightmare to calibrate!

Which of these Hazro is the best for gaming A,B,C or the 30wi.

Also is 1600 much better than 1440 just that I've got money for a 30inch tho could save 400 getting a 27.

Any idea when OCuk will be getting the 30" models back in stock?

I was told this week by OC tho that it was not 100%.

I'm wondering why UE clients can have those screens next week, when UK has to wait two weeks:(
Worth taking a trip to other country and ordering it from there to save one week without a monitor?;)
I've sold my Dell 2407, now sitting without a monitor:( I don't want to wait another two weeks!:(

I almost was going to buy something else, I will give them 2 weeks but that is as far as I can wait.

2 weeks has been stated for months! Lets see what happens :)

Hi.

For photo editing, can I expect smoother color reproduction and gradients with the A-Model, then with the C? My graphics card doesn't support 10 bits (Nvidia 9800GT); I suppose that the hardware controls of the A-model will allow for better results as with control from the computer-side, only. But, will the difference will be appreciable, or just marginal? Would be glad to read some advice.

Cheers - Klaus

Hi,

I'm looking to get a new monitor soon and currently use a Dell 20" running at 1600X1200.

My PC is used for games mainly and I was considering the Hanns.G HH281HP 27.5.

How much better is the C version of the 27" Hazro than the above Hanns.G?

And I suppose I should ask if my ATI 6870 will be enough to power the 27" Hazro as well?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It will power the monitor no problem, but it depends what games you play the massive resolution the monitor natively has.

Anyone know where the panels are sourced from? After today's unfortunate events, i wouldn't be surprised if there was an unexpected delay.

It is horrible what has happened in Japan…

but LG is corean, and who nows where they are producing the panels… (not in Japan, for sure; might be Corea, China…).

I hadn't even thought of that. Hazro might finally have a valid excuse for delaying the screens, shame it had to be under these circumstances...

If LG make the screens (I have no idea, just going on the above) then they'll be made in Korea or Poland

As far as I know they are LG screens, so indeed Korea.. or Poland :D NO MORE DELAYING :p

Would like to ask people here if they had a choice which Hazro monitor 30i or one of the 27s.

Meaning is the 30inch any better.

Definitely need to study the reviews and specs in relation to your budget / application / needs.

The 2560x1600 of the 30" over the 2560x1440 of the 27" is a definite huge plus for me. However, there are several other user-specific considerations that makes me aim for the HZ27WC at the moment. But that's just me.

I am doubting between the HZ27WA and HZ27WC, for office use with a lot of reading and writing on multiple documents (the 2560x1440 will be very useful; I am working now on a close distance of about 55cm with my actual 20" 1650x1050), and I think that a high density is good for reading close to the screen (in all the programs I use I can adjust the scale of reproduction).

I am doubting between the 2 models because I am doing some editing of photos, too. The A-model might give a bit more of quality in color and gradients, but I am not sure if the difference will be perceptible.
