lol, what you've just done is like someone going to the market and seeing a TV going for £300 and feeling it's too cheap and offering more.
£399 is as far as I can stretch my budget to (assuming that I'm able to sell my old monitor and get some money back from other stuff).
Not everyone opting for such an awesome monitor is that rich.
And at £500 it's way more than I can justify. I don't have money to throw away like you seem to; I have various other things I want to buy many of which more so than a monitor, the £100 difference would buy me the headphone amp I've been after for example, and I wager the amp will get significantly more use than the monitor.
