Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

can someone explain the fuss about Hazro monitors?
Stylish monitors that use high end IPS panels while undercutting the cost levels of others like Dell by quite a few hundred pounds. It doesn't hurt that they have made models that focus on low input lag either.

27-inch IPS screen for £400? that should explain it :)

I'm gonna be so disappointed if HZ27WC doesn't make it here by the end of next week or it costs more than £400.

I really can't afford to pay more (even though I'm selling off a fair amount of stuff to fund it) and waiting for one of these is killing me :(

After all the delays and stuff, i'm also hoping it comes in very close to £400, I think they should at least consider a first week price around there to thank us lot for being patient :)

Cheapest you can get a U2711 for on eBay (that's used and a bit defective) is £500. Major suckage. Come on Hazro I'm dying for a higher than 1920x1200 res monitor so I have an excuse to upgrade my gpu.......

you pay for the warranty with dell, i find it majorly increases my piece of mind

They're plastic now?! Oh boy :(. Not so sure about upgrading my 26wi now...And the new monitors only have a single port each which is a bit of an inconvenience for me.

Just for interest sake... is it the port type or the lack of other ports which is a problem for you?

The change from metal to plastic is something which bothered me at first. I wondered if Hazro could not perhaps offer the gloss finish with the metal case and stand? However, I have no doubt that the plastic with edge-to-edge gloss cover will also work very well if durable and well engineered.

Dell's warranty is 0 dead pixel, next day at door swap. So yeh, much better. But that's because they are such a big company and have the infrastructure to offer this whereas Hazro do not.

Here in South Africa Dell cannot honour such a warranty on their IPS monitors since they are all special order from overseas with a 2 - 3 week wait. In this respect Dell offers no advantage over Hazro.

It obviously depends where you are and if the big company has the stock readily available to back their warranty.

Lack of other ports. I usually have two-three comps connected to monitor so would be nice to have several.

Are there easy solutions with a displayport? I hate using KVM switches - I have an Aten switch which always bugs out on me.
