Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

:sadpanda:

Not a healthy sign.

It could be a healthy sign actually, there is no real reason the website should be gone offline all of a sudden without real reason so they COULD be linking it to a new webserver with the new site on it, this can take some time. I'd reckon they would do the .co.uk site first.

I think something is cooking.. both Hazro websites don't work...

Yup. The head, and both humps of the Loch Ness monster are now submerged with a bunch of die-hard Nessie hunters camping on the shore hoping for a sighting.

Is what we saw really out there? Or was it just a floating log? More importantly, can we soon finally put an end to all this speculation and get on with our lives!?

Annnoying. Even after the take-down there is still information stating the HZ27Wa has displayport.
I seem to be the only person interested in if the monitors will work directly with a displayport cable + Dp to DVI convertor, & i can't ask them directly because Firefox refuses to display the "two words" required on their 'Contact Us' screen. (I assume it's Captchpa, which i often have problems with).
Did ask Hazro on here over a month ago, but he's been MIA for at least 3 weeks.
Will probably end up buying one before i get a reply, & hopefully it will all work, else it all goes back (assuming they do get released).

btw, can somone explain to me the difference between DVD-D single & DVI-D dual link cables? The Hazro requires DVD-D single, right?

It's both DVI-D (digital), not DVD-D :D.... but anyway dual link has a few more pins, it can transport more data / bandwith. Which is needed to support high resolution like these screens have. If you don't have DVI-D dual link video card or cable you won't get the resolution, period.

here is some good information btw:

Yeah sorry, mis-type on the first one.
I just discovered it's to do with resolution. It now appears that all the DVI-D dual converters are active (powered), but more importantly they must be attached at the graphics card end of the cable! I was hoping to attach an adapter on the monitor end of the (displayport) cable, this does not appear to be possible.
