Hazro series - HZ30Wi, HZ30WiQ, HZ27WA, HZ27WB & HZ27WC

Wow, £374.99?? I think I'm going to have to! But glass or no glass? Hmm. Better looks or dust free?

@Gibbo, is it possible to request that the product is checked for dodgy pixels before being dispatched?

Second edit: Anyone using a GeForce GTX 560 with the 27WC? Had any scaling issues with that?

Nope we don't pre-check any monitors before despatch and is something were not willing to do due to logistic issues and the fact by opening and using the product makes it 2nd hand.

Got my WB from Hazro.

No Dead Pixel or Dust that I can see.

Looks great very strong will last years.

Input lag very low coming from a WFP 24 Dell it's amazing much much better.

Gaming is taken to the next level with this Monitor it is like playing games for the first time even though they are ones you have played for ages.

Customer Sevice was and is top notch so far.

Hope the above helps.

Cheers
DX

these screens look top notch and i want to get TWO! would that be overkill?
would my graphics card handle it? its a Nvidia GTX260. my pc is quad-core with 12gigs RAM if that makes any difference.

---------------------
has anyone played games on these? i'm concerned with ghosting.
tell us what games u played, CSS, QUAKEiii, Modern Warfare, BadCompany, Crysis2 etc.

---------------------
how do 1080p movies look on these screens? are they pixelated when the screen is at full res?
can i use 1920x1200 res if i want or is defeating the purpose of getting these monsters?

---------------------
and what does this mean exactly?
"found in the HZ27WA without scaling functionality. Video content bypasses scalers making the HZ27WC ideal for gaming and multimedia video production."
why would a LACK of scalers make gaming better?
what do 'normal' monitors use? i've never heard of this 'scaling' thing and its got me all confused :( can someone explain like i'm a 5 year old please?

---------------------
and hey HAZRO, can i order two, u guys keep the stands and send me one of those dual-stands u had on your website 3 months ago?

soooooo many questions, sorry, but any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

ps, hurray for free-delivery to sweden!!

I bought the HZ30Wi back in December and have a problem with HDCP. Thinking that I would like to play back Blu-Rays on it, it then bought a Blu-Ray drive for it. However, according to the nVidia control panel, it doesn't support HDCP. Now, when I bought it, this was on my list of necessities. It was also listed as having HDCP support on the Hazro website (although it doesn't now) and Overclockers website. It even says it supports HDCP in the manual.

At the time I looked, there was little info about this issue on the web. Now reading the updates to this thread, it seems it is an issue with the other monitors too.

I did use the contact form on the Hazro website over a month ago, but they have not bothered to respond to my query - which is nice.

Where do I stand on this? I bought the monitor (from Overclockers) in the understanding it supported HDCP, as it is clearly described as having it. Does anyone know what Hazro and Overclockers position on this is?

the contact form on the website is for pre-sales only if i'm not mistaken.
http://hazro.co.uk/contact.php

but there does not seem to be anywhere else to contact them for service related stuff.
weird.
maybe call them instead.

Indeed. However, I'm pretty sure the contact form didn't say it was for pre-sales only when I used it (before their website revamp).

They don't list a phone number either. :-(

Having looked over this thread, will the new release include proper screws for mounting the stand and will the relevent audio cable be included?
