healthy Eating!

also Teriyaki salmon/steak/tuna with broccoli and rice/cous cous

That, sounds really tasty... Hmm off to google search on how to make such a dish.. Me, I'm having a omelette tonight, with three eggs, organic cheese and bacon with mushroom, sod the diet I've had a rough day..!!

Might make a salad with a light dressing, lots of pepper in the omelette mind, and a few chips as well..... lol

That, sounds really tasty...

easy buy a bottle of teriyaki sauce(supermarkets stock it, or if you can a Chinese/Japanese shop). marinade fish/meat for a few hours if possible. Then stir fry with broccoli add extra terriaki sauce and a touch of water to make a sauce.

well got all me bits and cooked a Prawn, spring onion risotto for my dinner last night! now i am shocking at cooking thankfully it came out 100% perfect. loved it!!

but. im now thinking if im trying to lose weight as well maybe i shouldnt be eating so much carbs? lol

You find the more you start to cook, the more you want to try new ideas... I hated cooking, however I tend to like it now....

Going to try that fish dish mind, sounds good.... Can't help with weight, I'm trying to gain, not lose.. :p Some folks eh, never happy.

Ok, I started using that myplate website.

Yesterday I ate an egg and cucumber sandwich, a bag of dried mango and typed for about 8 hours which, according to that site... is actually worth a fair amount of calories.

Today I ate the bag of mango again... then I typed for a couple of hours, and I decided what the hell, put on some music and went on my little trampoline for half an hour. Worked up an absolute sweat, heavy breathing etc. Went onto the site, it reckoned that trampolining like that was worth < the typing!! Only 100 odd calories burned off in a solid half hour session. Meh. Anyway, had 3x scrambled eggs on 2 pieces of toast, and it reckons I have maxxed out my calories again.

Only day 2 and I am seriously hungry and tired. Meh.

get urself to morisons/iceland etc, weightwatchers meals for £1 each.

Curry, chickenhotpot, spag bol, lasagne, shep pie are all fairly nice, as far as microwave meals go they are caviar.

Sometimes making a healthy meal you fancy can be a hassle, so get these to make sure you stay good.

Make yourself some lamb/beef/chicken kebabs, just grill the meat and stick it in a fajita wrap with some natural yoghurt, salad and spices. You'll get the hang of it :)

Microwave meals may be low in fat, but are packed with preservatives etc, so arent actually good for you

they are the lesser of 2 evils for someone whos trying to eat healthy and lose weight.

The 'stay good' was meant in the context that it stops you from scranning on high fat ****, because I often slip up when im peckish and eat a full pack of biscuits even though im trying to lose my weight(im not fat, but i get VERY hungry).
Its not always practical to make good healthy food, and sometimes I just cant be bothered.
So i like having my weightwatchers meals available because it gets something in my stomach thats tasty and satisfies me and isnt going to make me super fat.

Haven't read the thread, so don't know if it's been said: fats are both good (mono/polyunsaturated) and bad (saturated). Try and get good fats, from stuff like nuts, and fish.

Salmon and a salad is a good dinner. Had it yesterday. :)
