Keep in mind, people exaggerate their height. Overestimating own height by 1inch is norm, by 2inch is a usual case.

2 years ago I was about 5' 2" and then all of a sudden I grew like bamboo, was awesome. Just add some serious muscle OP, then nobody cares how tall you are... You can always punch them in the balls.

I'm 5'7 and the only time I really notice is when I'm working and I'm surrounded by guys who are 6'5 and built like outhouses, still doesn't stop me from doing anything.

being tall is all fun and games until you can't stand up without bumping your head, then it's painful

Possibly, the passenger seat in my Monaro doesn't go as far forward as the drivers anymore. I need to get that looked at.

Maybe most people who've posted are as tall as they say as perhaps it's somewhat self selecting in terms of who will reply to such topics or maybe there's some exaggeration going on as mentioned.
