Helldivers 2

I find the AA in the ship environment is a lot more janky than general in game. In game, I don’t have any issues with picture quality or clarity.
yeah same, not much to be done with an AMD card either - can't pick other AA options

Our usual group is three people so we leave the party open to let a random solo join - but more and more the solo will join only for the 'kill' missions and then just leave before we get to the other two (launch nuke, protect researchers, find giant robot silos) and it's becoming incredibly common. I'd say in maybe 70% of our games now the solo will leave immediately after the kill mission.

We did manage to do the achievement/trophy earlier of completing a mission on hard difficulty without any shooting their primary or support weapon. There was a lot of running around in a panic.

my steam is pjones1983 if anyone wants add me its a good game it does get frustrating when randoms just want to do the main objective then extract instead of looking for the collectables

Right did some more testing on the aliasing front:

- dldsr alone is too much performance hit but looks great, tried using ultra quality scaling which brings the performance back up but iq is pants, probably because it's using fsr 1
- aa off and sharpening off results in lesser iq overall, too smudgy looking and shimmering still there so a no go for me

So for now, based on 3440x1440 res and 3080, FXAA via NVCP with aa off in game and sharpening to 1 still seems the best overall.

New AMD driver available for crash prevention.

I finally appear to have fixed my problems. Did custom tuning and limited core etc to manufacturers spec. Get the impression my card has been boosting until it decided to crash.

Probably need a few more hours of testing but no issues since I did this ~2 hours of game time.

Launch nuke missions are so cool, and they look unbelievable on the OLED, even if they do light up my bedroom and nearly blind me at the same time :D

An incredible game, all a surprise for this 2024. I recommend playing with friends you laugh a lot especially with friendly fire.
