Helldivers 2

The Scramble effect from what I've used switches your strats around if they're off cooldown and then does the correct one if it is. They're only randomised once though, so if you can remember which one they've moved to you can call in the one you want. Or as normal, try and call a support and check if the ball in your hand is blue or red :D

ie something like:
#1 > #3 but if #3 is on cooldown then does #1 as normal.
#2 > #1 if #1 is on cooldown then does #2 as normal.

I've had more problems with trying to call in a cluster/500kg bomb and then getting hit by something that rag dolls me and therefore drops the bomb right at my feet. Queue team kills and some unhappy people yelling wtf! :D

A friend has this but he can't play 10 minutes without it crashing (7900xtx) even after trying all the fixes online, so annoying :(
I've only had 1 crash to desktop (4070Ti\I7 9700K).

event viewer show any details of whats causing the crash? GPU drivers fully up to date?

I have had it a few times when it just sits on loading to the ship after the mission has ended where it never seems to load.

Apparently it's a more unfriendly with AMD cards vs. Nvidia - which is odd considering most 'PlayStation Studio' games typically run better on AMD cards.

I've only had one crash on PC - then made the changes recommended here - and it hasn't crashed since. Although I'm spending most of my time playing on PS5 and annoyingly they haven't implemented cross-progression yet.

Really want to give this a try. But One of our usual gaming crew is on a old gaming pc that badly needs updating. But would it run this?

He's using a i5 6600K and a 1070ti Anyone using anything close to this and can tell me how badly it performs?

Cheers

I've been playing on an i5 6600K and a GTX 970! My native resolution is 1920x1200 but I've had to drop this as well as having everything on low/off e.g. AA. It's not pretty and I'd say my average FPS is 40 odd, but there are a number of times during a game that it'll drop pretty low, but, it's playable. I shall be upgrading at some point though, have kind of been battling on the past couple years with modern games.

Yeah everything is up to date, it's annoying as mine hasn't crashed once just a couple of glitches here and there. It's putting him off playing but there doesn't seem to be an update on the horizon either. AMD did release some drivers but that didn't fix it.

Less crashing but still happens. I’ve dropped to medium and lasted two and half hours. Event veiwer said it was an exe crash not drivers.

I have a friend with the same GPU with similar issues, @Raumarik

Mine is a 7800 XT with everything cranked up, including native res and its as solid as a rock, it does not crash.... i don't get it, they are the same generation of GPU.

Oh yeah, anyone elses strategems playing up today? Just called in a rover but turned out it gave me an orbital strike on the entire squad, they saw the funny side though.

Ive had my main gun just disappear a few times, makes for a fun time. Also fell through the floor a few times, usually when in the carrier. Played for nearly 50 hours now and for a new game ive had very few problems.

I'm used to bugs in game, (no pun intended) i have i don't know how many thousands of hours in Star Citizen....

I've seen it all.... :D
Yeah once you've played a few hundred hours of star citizen any game seems bug free in comparison. Loving this one so far though. i should join you guys for a few games but i dont play much in the evenings.

Started crashing again. So I've put everything back on low and it seems happy again. Fingers crossed for a fix. Still lots of fun!

I had a friend who crashed every round, 2 or 3 times randomly.

Turning off Global Illumination & Ambient Occlusion fixed it for them, no crashes since. (7950XT irrc)
