Yeah the entitlement of a small minority of gamers thinking that games should be developed around how THEY want to experience is just cray cray. Whilst these people are vocal, they are a tiny subset of the target audience and likelihood is they’d be on to the next game by next week anyway, or will continue to play and enjoy the game despite their moaning.

I’ve whinged about metas ever since CoD Warzone showed how badly managed they can be. If any particular weapon, loadout or item gets used by 90% of the player base, things need to be switched up. Games should have an element of rock, paper, scissors to them, not thermo-nuclear warhead versus a Dodo.
 
The nerf bat certainly was divisive. I feel they did a bit too much together. Breaker needed a range nerf. I just feel they ultimately made the game a bit less fun.
 
Yeah the breaker would’ve been better nerfed with effective range I think - it is a shotgun after all. Truthfully I haven’t even used it since the nerf. I have found the liberator to be a little bit underwhelming now, and found the Stalwart to be very versatile still.
 
Shotguns having rubbish range is largely a myth though. It's more about the ammo, wouldn't mind them making them different based on ammo type e.g. slug longer range but less spread etc.
 
Breaker is still entirely viable and strong. It's just gone from having near enough no recoil, to some recoil if you are utilising the full rate of fire. If you compare the recoil to many other games, it's practically non existant still!
I'm soaking up the tears of entitlement from some players on reddit. Saw a thread from a guy complaining he's no longer able to complete difficulty 7-9 missions when playing solo or with randoms, instead of with an organised group. Good! You shouldn't be able to complete the high difficulties on your own, or with a complete missmatch of tactics and comms. Go play an easier difficulty if you want to tear through the enemies with zero risk!
 
Yeah I still run the Breaker or incendiary version without any issue. I really dont get the drama over it.

PVE so I don't feel a rush to level etc. Enjoy any of the skill levels especially with friends trying to kill each other..

Just test drove Exosuits, so cool! Stopping around in big bad ass mechs!

However im now having connection issues lol. Feels like the game isn't syncing, when we finished our last game we got zero xp and nothing updated.

Getting an unknown error has occurred after the starting video finishes but then logs you in. Can't skip it.

Maybe servers are getting overwhelmed again, nothings syncing. Tried to buy something with medals and it doesn't go through.
 

Patriot Exosuit is fun, I didn't know it was in game - I crashed shortly after this btw, still not sure why! Video still processing so better resolutions will come as youtube catches up.

Glad it's not just me, sort of. I've been googling to see if there's a way to skip the intro video, it's annoying!
 
been a while since i laughed so much in a game.....

all 4 of us are on the extraction - randoms but all on mic and speaking english (and no feedback from their game either....the holy grail of random play) but it's still naturally a bit hectic. someone accidentally nades a team mate, all apologies over mic and clearly completely new to the game. all good. someone else tells him how to 'respawn' them. he calls an orbital barrage of some sort by mistake - you can hear the panic in his voice on mic when he realises what he's done. i run. i hear the explosions, i hear the apologies, i hear the swearing and cursing......then i see 2 bodies ragdoll past me a second or 2 before my screen dims and i ragdoll too :cry:
dude that caused the carnage is almost crying over mic with what seemed like proper genuine apologies, i'm crying with laughter and the other 2 tools are crying with saltiness and upset at this stage. i've had to stop playing for a bit to stop laughing.

Use to be able to but since today i've not been able to, just spins in the top right corner as though its trying to connect to the servers. Still not able to buy anything in the stores and upgrades etc, bah!

Getting a Failed to connect to server message now.
 
I do chuckle when I see a Charger chasing a teammate round the terrain. The railgun nerf has reset the loadout! :)
