What a game - looks fantastic and great fun. Worth playing with a group of friends for sure.

The 500Kg Strategem bomb is just so freaking amazing, couldn't care less if it doesn't kill anybody....it just looks do pretty :D
 
I just use my PC to play games, it really doesn’t bother me at all so long as it doesn’t tank performance (it doesn’t).

But I may be biased, as I still believe this is the best game ever made.
 
Anyone else had an issue where the mission complets but you get no warbond or exp credit? Its happened twice in a row this morning, when the squad returns to orbit everyone is showing as level 0 and the exp bar does not go up. Very annoying!

This was happening when the servers were overloaded last week. Could be a another bug.

Slight tangent but similar credit not applying - when the new automaton weekly came out even though it is solid we got it completed once and it never credited that. Waited a few days and it still hasn't so hoping they tweak it a little. If you have 4 good players its not that bad but randoms that bail mean that mission is tougher than it should be.

I think the description of it is misleading. What it actually means is you need a successful defend operation (not mission) on planets that are also successfully defended by the community from the automatons. Given only a couple are open at once it will take a few days for anyone to do it, and even finishing a single operation with the evac missions being so overtuned is quite hard. AND then the community has to defend at least 8 planets I believe. For 12.5k credits, its not something I'm focusing on.
 
That would make a bit more sense.

My mates were adamant we defended two missions but this on the initial tick into the weekly was also around the time of other matchmaking issues and servers struggling. As it was a weekly challenge I thought we could get it done, so hopefully the devs dial back the drop ship frequency or make the difficulty scale correctly (most people pick easiest one to give them a chance).
 
It will be interesting to see where they go in terms of unlocks/things to spend resources on. The weekly and daily challenges are a nice bump early on, but are pretty underwhelming later when you can either speed farm missions or are tackling them at higher difficulty levels.

I imagine we are going to start seeing the complaints soon from people who have absolutely blitzed the game for a full week or so and unlocked everything already. It could do with a little vendor selling various bits and pieces, I think Aliens Fireteam Elite did that pretty well and is a similar game in a way.

I think once the novelty wears off your best dipping in for a couple of games and letting them build that content. You will never keep the obsessive sweaty lot happy.
