Hi all you ocuk's. I need help, I'm going out with my clan tonight for an indian. The problem is I've never had indian before, and I know if I as them they'll stuff me up :).
So what do you recommend for an indian virgin, it needs to be fairly mild, but tasty.
Thanks in advance.

Dude, youre over 30, whereve you been all your life?

Anyone here actually eaten a Phaal?

I did, for a 2p bet :(

I generally eat fairly hot curries like Chicken Madras or Jal Masala Chicken.

Had to have 4 pints just to clear the plate of the phaal.

Little bit of advice from someone in the know : you think a phaal is hot, its 10x worse coming back out of your nostrils a few hours later!

lol theres no point us tryin to blag him with a hot curry pretending its mild, most curry houses will have a spice rating on the menu. Just go of that chap, stick to the 1 or 2 chilli rated dishes, doubt you could handle 3+ if you've never eaten curry before.

No point trying to blag him when he's already been, eaten and returned :D

Chinese curry doesn't count, although I think that's better off in the bin than on chips :p Gravy is where it's at.

Ahhh, but its cheap and you get loads, plus the Chinese chips are fried in somthing funny which makes the flavour go right. But, on the normal chip-shop side, gravy is the way to go! You are unfortunatley from Leicester, but you are right! :D

I had a "meat" phall once just for "a been there, done that". Damned if I could tell what the "meat" was. Absolutely foul, almost gagged on the first mouthful. Made it to the bitter end, sweating, burned and cursing.

It was worse the day after :(
