Help Team OcUK beat some Russians…

Well, I did have F@H installed on my PC. But then the Network guys changed the proxy information and it stopped working.

You would have thought, being in the IT team myself that they might let me carry on. But no :mad:

So, my contribution, small though it was is now no-more. I have tried, but all to no avail. Sorry :(

I'd wondered where you'd gone - tis a shame you can't play anymore :o
I wouldn't call 84K small by any means though, would have been good if you could have got to a nice round 100K but I guess it just wasn't to be

edit: I think that makes Tinkerbell our only female folder at the moment :eek:

Yes, but if you havent used the configonly command, you'll have to use services.msc to restart F@H after closing the console window...

You missed me? Aww... ;)

Believe me, the moment I find out how, I will be back. I really enjoyed checking the stats every week and I wouldn't want Tinkerbell to be lonely :)

I've been folding for over a year and only gotten ~60,000...
 
You don't have to have eleventy bajillion computers to have fun with it. Rich puts a special section in his news posts for people with one computer only. I think it adds a little extra spice as folks with but one machine tend to watch that machine like a hawk.

you might find that the stats server doesn't like the special character - it won't affect the science but you might not be able to view your stats properly once work has been completed
might be best to stop the service and reconfigure it with a name using normal characters and _ if you want to space the text out

If it's just a configuration thing, I'm sure we can help you out. However, if work put the proxy in place to stop this sort of thing then that's that (we encourage neither proxy dodging nor using DC - or any other - software without permission).
