Help Team OcUK beat some Russians…

also, don't forget to pay a visit to the spaire parts sticcy, meny of us out here have parts that we don't need and are willing to send away (if it helps the team) for postage costs.
I'm sure 90% of you (or more) have a "box of bits" laying around your house.

Not that great...what system do you have and did you put large units on? Having said that I've been lumped with some of those before...

This is what it says in the log :).

[12:51:51] Completed 3375 out of 500000 steps (0)
[13:06:51] Writing checkpoint files
[13:08:51] Writing local files
[13:08:51] Completed 5000 out of 500000 steps (1)
[13:22:03] Writing checkpoint files
[13:37:18] Writing checkpoint files
[13:52:31] Writing checkpoint files
[13:58:04] Writing local files
[13:58:04] Completed 10000 out of 500000 steps (2)
[14:07:32] Writing checkpoint files
[14:22:44] Writing checkpoint files

And also the ETA is 3 days 7 hours and 51 mins.

Ouch...my X2 takes about ~26 hours on it, at 2.3ghz. Thing is, the time on that unit can vary, and the first few steps on mine took forever.

Thanks guys :) I'll try to keep this on as much as possible. I have another pc that is a bit old, AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.16 Ghz with 1 GB ram. So I'll set that up later today...

Ok :p I'm doing this more for the medical purposes than competitiveness :D. Oh and as long as I'm helping OcUK even a little is cool with me :)

Quicker results will speed the research, hence most work units have deadlines.

Hmm this is strange, you know how the speed of processor on the laptop changes to save battery etc. I've just looked at CPU-Z and its only running at 900Mhz or so, even though I've seen it go to 1.73 Ghz when I play a game etc. Why's it not going higher? :(

The laptop is running from AC Power though.
