Mr monobrow
Mostafa Kamel, isn't that a punchline to a joke? Although I reckon it's safe to say that he's going to be very popular in prison.

I'm curious what's the definition of 'front-line' police officers, maybe some less important/relevant 'front-line' police officer positions got cut first and then they started cutting actual bobbies on the beat.
Where it states the biggest dramatic drop is just an estimate as wellNothing worse than a graph with a trimmed axis to make something look like a bigger drop than it really is.
A recent conversation in my infamous pub has led me to challenge my horror at the amount of drug related knife crimes, especially in our capital. A fellow boozer asked "Why, if you do not relish black drug dealers and mules gaining a foothold in our counties are you so worried when they knife or shoot each other, often fatally? And you also espouse the opinion that the authorities are so hamstrung by political correctness they are impotent to effectively stop and search and later charge these people? Euthanasia by their peers is surely an idyllic and cost effective situation?"
I found it hard to argue with that somewhat different perspective![]()

Not the downfall but certainly the attitude of youth.
Elvis's gyrations I'd say likley inspired closer/sexier dancing which no doubt helped many couples getting to know each other better than would have been true in the 1940/1950's
1960's music with inspired much sexual freedom and anti-war sentiment which you can't say didn't influence many younger peoples culture in the 1960's and into the
1970's......
1980 * 1990's.....my generation
2000+ Rap/Garage/Grime/Drill have become a very big part of the youth culture these days and there is correlation between the way youths act, dress, their aspirations and the music they are into. The difference is a lot of what went before (Beatles, Elvis, 1980s) was primarily love, sex, freedom and while older generation mostly didn't like the music, the culture it bred in the main didn't do others any harm while some of todays drill/rap/grime appear to convey the attitude that you better get rich or die trying, flash your wealth, how to treat your "bitches" etc
So to suggest theres no correlation between stabbings, drug dealing, muggings/theft and generally only thinking of yourself and **** others attitude many of the inner cities are suiffering from is to deny that music is part of culture, has influenced in the past. particullarly influences the younger generations, continues to influence it today and will continue in to the future.
Why do you think a lot of inner cities in the US have become so crime ridden, white flight, businesses leave, crime settles in, what's happening now is almost the exact same thing as US cities 40 odd years ago.A recent conversation in my infamous pub has led me to challenge my horror at the amount of drug related knife crimes, especially in our capital. Edited my post. Some idiot on twitter reporting it quite convincingly. Strange one this. Got on at same station, that’s it. Train full of passengers too. Must have been horrific to witness.I can't see any reference to admiral akbars snackbar. BBC and Metro etc. are the same.

Indeed, I'm not saying it didn't happen. I expect most outlets are reluctant to jump the gun too. As always time will tell.Edited my post. Some idiot on twitter reporting it quite convincingly.
