So trying to find this out but Google is failing me, will this end up being a retail release e.g. pay for the game or free but with micro transactions?

bought that champ yesterday, lol at the bfg with the trait so it speeds around the planet every 5 seconds.

you can pretty much set it down a lane with a few towers/fort in it's path and go do something else never returning to the lane again
assasin champs kick my ass though but might just be because teams are always idiots....

like yesterday illidan was owning us all, I was the only one trying to attack him.... I think he was like 90% of his teams kills.

people with no brains, how come no one chooses a lane and sticks to it? there's barely any team work just 4 random idiots playing like bots some games they don't even appear to know what to do on the maps...
so we never get the special thing like the pirate ship cannons whacking the enemy base, some people don't even know you can drink out of the fountains and recall instead.

had one guy do 6k dmh to enemy heroes in the whole game and about 200k siege damage, we lost every team fight 4v5....
I'm lvl13 so I'd have expected more than this already but I guess with the popularity of blizzard it attracts all the idiots.

I'll keep playing though bought a 7day stimpack too seem to be getting a decent gold income now.


do I have to hit lvl30 and hero leagues before people are playing it properly?

edit game says 13 days of stimpack now , they gave 7 days free?
was saying 7 when I logged off last night

You get 7 days free for reaching level 10 and you also get the following gold for levelling up.

2,000 Gold at Account Levels 20, 25, 30, 35, 40
1,250 Gold at Hero Level 15
2,500 Gold at Hero Level 20

With regards to games, I still get the odd one where the team has no idea but in general most the games I play are good, I think I'm probably at about 60% win rate overall at a guess.

I always found duo queuing to be quite good, did it with a few on here and won more than lost. If you ever want a game let me know, i'm on quite a bit.

With the upcoming release I thought I would give it another go.

Played last night - did some cooperative games and some quick matches as "Valla" the Demon Hunter, which I think everyone who bought D3 got for free.

Was more fun this time around, I am going to give it some more play time.

Another good thing was very little abuse between players. Out of 7 games I only saw one person abusing someone else, and it was pretty timid by LoL/DoTA standards.
 
It is for now, once the doors open I expect it to get a lot worse.

Even with the design decisions Blizzard have made to curb it, I think rage in this genre is pretty much a given.

That being said I have learnt to ignore it :)
 
Rife with connection problems tonight for me!

Started to play a few new heroes tonight (still learning them) Sylvanas Windrunner and Tyrael.

Still not 100% sure on Tyrael but i enjoyed Sylvanas once i got used to how she plays etc.

Is Sylvanas on rotation or did you buy her? She looks pretty good.

I played some more games last night and bought Diablo and Raynor with some gold I had saved up. Had a lot of fun with Diablo!

I struggled with Tyrael, didn't like his skills much except for the charge one.
 
Sylvanas is on free rotation when you hit level 15.

She's brilliant at lane pushing, she does quite a bit of damage to heroes too.

Diabolo has become more popular lately I've noticed. I still think etc is a tad better but not much in it.

Not played Raynor in ages.

Oh and for anyone who doesn't know get all the free rotation heroes to level 5 as you get 500g each time.

Oooh I didnt know that! Thanks for the tip about the gold.

I am level 13 so a couple more levels will be able to try out Sylvanas.
