Highbury - The Final Salute (No spoliers)

Arsenal's style of play would arguably benefit from a wider pitch

With the way that they spread the ball quickly it would make sense and would give henry more room to run into if he stays!

Always seemed like the final game was still ages away but time has flown by, gonna be an emotional day today. :(

I stayed for the celebrations, which were ok, but nothing special, then it was time to say goodbye, which was rather emotional, considering how much time I've spent there over the years.

See ya Highbury, it's been emotional. :)

What a day. Got some pictures which I'll post later, great to see some legends, Limpar, Oleg, the Grimster, and Wrighty.

And I was on TV for the second week running

Goodbye Highbury.

Goodbye Bergkamp.

Hello Ashburton.

I hope Henry stays. If not for Arsenal, then for the sake of English football. :)

Ashburton does look really good, but Highbury is just too sentimental for many fans. Here's to a new era in the club's history.

Even I've been to Highbury 4 times, and I support Ipswich!

It was a tight ground with the seats packed incredibly close together, so plain to see it really wasn't designed to be an all-seater stadium! Not only will Arsenal's attendances help them match Man Utd. etc financially, the new stadium brings with it lots more corporate function suites/private boxes etc which will sure to be big money spinners too.
