Quality mate!!

I've only really been allowed by the parents to go to football matches when I left for uni. By which time it's damn near impossible to get a ticket for Highbury. I've only been three times. I've been to Goodison Park more times just because I'm up here lol!

My old man went to the game yesterday. I can only imagine what it must have been like. I was so happy to see T.H get a hattrick. Quality stuff, and im not even an arsenal fan! I have seen them play twice at home, once against charlton and the other when i had VIP matchday sponsor tickets against chelsea. Now that was a day and a half! :D
 
What a great day. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to be there. I'd like to say well done to Wigan for giving us a good game and their fans for staying and joining in the celebrations.

From the moment I saw sky sports news say the spurs game was in doubt the day seemed to have a panto theme with every few minutes someone shouting 'it's on', 'it's off', 'it's delayed' etc and that continued during the game as no one around me knew the correct score and everytime a cheer went up it took us about 5 minutes to confirm everything. At one point shortly after it was 1-1 we all thought it was 2-0 :mad:.

I thought the after match celebrations were well done and showed a good account of the history of the club. I thought they would be more emotional but the only time I was was during Highbury Heighs (really like that song btw).

I thought there could have been more made of famous games played at highbury. For example the best goals and best matches being shown of the big screen.

I purchased 4 (2 sold to members on here, and one for a friend, making no profit at all :) ) but I heard stories of people buying 30+. They did print 60k but still sold out.

And the t-shirts are going for silly money. Why would you want a T-shirt saying you were there, when you weren't?!
