Not generally a fan of Scroobius Pip but I love this song. Not only because it features two of my favourite rappers...

My taste is similar, I started listening to hip hop in 1986-87, just as old school was going out and golden age was starting, there are many wonderful, beautiful hip hop tracks, I remember when MC Solar from France got some worldwide fame due to the first Jazzmatazz album with Guru, it introduced people to rapping in a foreign language and how pleasing it can be to the ear despite not knowing what was being said. I do prefer tunes to tell a story though, rather than be irrelevant nonsense strung together (unless its funny).
Not sure if I like that or not. The video is awesome though!
never been a big fan of the rock/rap mix.

No exception for me mate I'm afraid, not even Run DMC and Aerosmith!

The video is brilliant, and I like the style the English rappers have in that as well. Not so keen on the tune though, never been a big fan of the rock/rap mix.

English rappers? You mean English rapper, right? The other two dudes are American...
I didn't look them up tbh, just assumed that they had an 'American style'. So yeah that English guy sounds good, which is who I was referring to.

You guys should add HKB if you want to check out original UK hip hop from the 80's and 90's. He was leader of Katch 22 who put out a lot of good albums and he has been systematically ripping all the old vinyl to youtube. Its been amazing as I sold all my vinyl to a japanese collector about ten years ago.
