yeah i know went to get that and another game this morning, seen the £29.99 price and thought no to that came home and ordered it off there got a email a few hours later saying its been sent. dont see why i should pay another £10er just to have it there and then, rip offs!

Hoping its good though, only thing is im gonna need a new pc soon as the new stuff aint gonna work on a 4 year old pc. more money i need to find i guess :eek:
 
Very good game, and very hard. I have it on rookie and its hard for me. But mind you i can go in with all guns blazing and still complete the mission. But i do it like a hitman and that is v-difficult. a lot of the missions are just plain hard to work out. Best way is to run through it a few times. Or several sections of it. Im at the New Orleans section now :)

If you have trouble with the others, just says so and i can help. A lot of it i passed on sheer luck and just experimenting :)
 
very impressed with it so far - however, i am playing like a complete n00b and can't get past the first mission proper.

Anyone seen the mention of Chief Wiggum in one of the papers yet? :D Playing this on normal setting atm and finding it pretty hard. Good game, I'm just not very good at it.
 
The only downer I find is the way it saves, it saves each session you play but you cannot exit the game and come back to a certain stage of a certain contract. I did the entire theatre one and got it all perfect for the 'final curtain' and then when i finished the game crashed and i had to do it all over again from the begining.

This could be especially annoying with the later ones, the alcoholics/drug addict clinic and the mafia home are v.hard to get all perfect to kill the mark and that crashing would be very, very annoying.

Btw if you stuck on the missions up to New Orleans, just email [email protected] and i could 'help' you through. Just decribe the mission your stuck on so i know which.
 
Completed it now, if you notice the ammo count at the bottom thats because I am messing about the second time with a trainer

Love the modded M4 :D

Just finished the game, and I have to say its one of the best games I've played in a long, long time. :)

The ending though, is quite bizarre, although very clever.

Wont go into too many details, I think those who have played it all the way through will know what I'm talking about. :cool:
 
The demo runs really badly on my computer too, regardless of graphics. Is this a technical issue with the game on certain setups or something? It runs really badly every time I move agent 47 or the camera, but the fps perks right up as soon as I stop. I'm pretty sure I have fast writes enabled. I admit my PC isn't the best, but Oblivion looks much nicer and runs about five times faster than this is right now! :eek:

EDIT: just noticed the patch mentions this apparent problem as a fix. I'll see if I can stand the framerate a little longer to do the demo version and then I'll be ordering it soon. I enjoyed Hitman 2 a lot on my ps2 so this'll probably be right up my ally. :)

This game is great, frustratingly hard at times but great ;)

I'd be interested to know how you get more than professional on the theater level though ... I only sedated one guy in the bathroom and did the cunning stuff otherwise ...

damn the drug rehab clinic is hard tho...

BTW found the one on iTunes. Its Ave Maria by Jewel. It sound pretty much like the game one. Others are a little different. Just click and preview :) Sorry for the edits keep finding more info :P
