The British fought a new era of war when during the Boer War of 1899-1902. While the British strength numbered around 500,000 at it's height, the Boer guerilla force rarely numbered over 20,000 but due to the tactics used, they were troublesome as regular soldiers were not trained to fight irregulars.
As part of the plan to end the conflict, the British introduced policies such as Blockhouses, scorched earth and concentration camps. The camps were intended for Boer families to be interned in as it was next to impossible to determine which families were active guerillas' or harbouring them and the plan was to weed them out that way.
However, your words are way off the mark when you say thay were introduced to kill them. That was never the plan and it was lack of sanitation, Cholera and Typhoid that killed over 20,000 men, women and children in those camps. They were not summarily executed, experimented on or gassed in the name of racial purification so I would suggest you get your facts straight before spouting utter carp.
Also, at the end of that conflict, the British Government paid reparations to the Transvaal and Orange Free State to the tune of £ 3 million pounds and that was the first time a victor ever paid out to the defeated nation as it was normally the other way around.
I do not wish to sound officious at all, but the above was not googled and while I am not an expert, I do have a pretty good idea both historically and now in terms of how the world turns, something I think you lack in depth.
