Had some invites out but we prefer to stay in at New Year, less fuss and drama.

Bangladeshi restaurant at 7pm and then hopefully back home somewhere between 9-10pm followed by dozing off in bed as I try to catch up on YouTube subscriptions.

I usually just spend New Years with family, but I always find that if I force myself to stay awake past midnight I find it near impossible to get any decent sleep afterward which makes the following days a bit rubbish. Seeing as I have to be up for work at 5am on 2nd January, I am trying to keep my sleep pattern fairly normal this time.

A bit of rock and roll royalty in our local pub tonight where a friend's band is playing & they're to be joined on drums by none other than Phil Towner, ex Nick Stroker band - famous for 80s underground hit A Walk in the Park. Can't wait for that one.
