Homefront

Just played 24 player GC match which is basically domination but with 2 areas consisting of first team to win 2 rounds aka best out of 3(3 areas if you tie 1-1 i think) and was quite good fun prefered it to BlackOps as it was a lot smoother aswell.

Decent game so far but then again i need to play it more to judge it proper but it seems better than most FPS games at the moment.

Multiplayer supports upto 32 players too.

Large Scale Mulitplayer Warfare.... yet its 32 player max.

Its like saying you have a Red Italian Car with a noisy exhaust.... and people finding out its a knackered old Punto with a holey exhaust pipe.

Reviews really do sound all over the place... guess i'll have to see what the metacritic user reviews say too.

As expected, bad COD knock-off. Had to laugh on the train on the way home as I saw a poster advertising the game with 9/10 from Zoo magazine

Wait what? Zoo magazine? Seriously? Isn't that like PC Gamer trying there hand at selling a house?

you might aswell just go and play it a bit more till this comes down in price which given the lack of marketing shouldn't take long.

Huge posters for this on the tube at King's X... funnily enough they quote the 9/10 Zoo review :D. They've also had a featured ad on Gamespot for a month or so.

Looked awesome from the videos I watched a few weeks back, but the graphics are looking seriously shoddy from the screens posted here

Im sorry this short sp is taking the mick, Why does it matter if its 5 hours? If their saying 5hours of good story then win you have had 5 hours of enjoymeant for your £24.

Granted it seems Story is getting mixed views too but if they were saying story is totally amazing im sure it wouldnt be marked down too much for it. Hell you can pay nearly £15(based on 2 people going) to go to cinema watch an film which is 1hour 30 mins and it be crap so that is short and wastefull ?

Im thed up of too long of games for example Killzone3 was short prolly around 5hours too but had a very fun single player so i got my moneys worth. FEAR1 was good would have been great except it was dragged on for too long imo =/

Same can't be said for DA2 :D

I was really looking forward to this as a big Fuel of War fan but this just seems to be nothing like it, obviously it is a different game so no reason why it should be.

Will go back to FOW instead :)

+1

are the maps small like COD or larger like BF?

From what i've seen so far they are about COD size but Ground Control mode varies over several areas within one map.

There is only 4 mp modes currently, Team Deathmatch, Ground Control, Commander Team Deathmatch and Commander Ground Control .(not tried the commander ones yet but may soon)

The multiplayer is quite fun so far, not played it much due to being sick although i will try some again soon tonight and to be honest it's fairly ok so far not on same terms as BFBC2/MW2 multiplayer but i can see it appealing to most people.(i guess it will be better the more i try it)

Game looks decent, some areas look stunning due to the textures seeming higher resolution than other areas which is wierd and they aren't bad like people think trust me.I've taken screenshots via Steam so may of lost quality and also the shadows/fire effects could have caused the slight blurring you see in some.

I would say so far i would give it a 7 or 8/10, it's better than Bulletstorm which was ok but too much of a console type game which put me off.

EDIT: Kept trying MP now but dcing constantly seems a problem with servers :o although i controlled a remote control small helicopter which was fun hehe and you can get vechicles in the other commander gamemodes.
