Having now managed to get the game to a reasonable playable standard, i am really liking it the playability is awesome akin to cod4 but with all the goodies you get in BFBC2. The game is smooth, for me bullet registry is great and the amount of damage the opponent has to take before death is considerably less than BC2 although its not hardcore stylee, which i find fantastic as people die when you think they should, the down side to this is so do you but you get your fair share of frags during a full game.
The additional equipment for your class has to be bought with xp or bp i think they call it, such as ability to use drones, rocket launchers, kevlar vest, etc etc. However these must be bought during the rounds and not at the start of your loadout, which i think is great, as you need to keep an eye on your BP, it also means no RL spamming. Snipers however are still the bain of this game type and homefront is no different with prone in the game this causes you a pain but bearable imo.
The drones purchased as above are great fun driving around shooting at baddies but beware while using your drone you are vulnerable as you see what your drone sees and not from your perspective.
This game has massive potential for scrims and longevity with the dedi files and no doubt map packs will be added later.
Just giving you an insight from my perspective for those on the edge of purchase, and for those that have it could well be a sound investment.
