Horizon Zero Dawn

If you watch the digital foundry video he had loads of weird hitches, even when it was running at 1080p on a 2080Ti with optimised settings.

I wouldn't assume it will be smooth.

That’ll be pretty embarrassing if that’s the case.

This was one of only two games on my PS4 Pro that made it sound like it was about to take off so it’ll be interesting to see just how hard it pushes the hardware on the PC.

Will probably double dip and pick it up but not until it’s dropped in price.

fyi AMD peeps, make sure you are on up to date game launch driver, the one from relive control panel auto-update is old.

I’m glad someone pointed this out because some of the posters above are going to be in for a rude awakening.

wccftech (*sic*)

"Before the patch there were stability issues abound, sometimes the game would stutter at a strange interval no matter what was going on, and often would simply not launch properly. I'm glad I waited until after the patch dropped to start recording data and found the game to be in a much more attractive state."

Performance issues or not I’m still really looking forward to playing this again on PC. If I have to I’ll just hold off until they’ve released a few patches fixing the inevitable bugs.

Dont like steams preload, takes longer to decrypt than to download(on fiber connection) and hammers the ssd with writes. Then other update is needed anyway, will just wait for release and download, its quicker.
