Use gsync if you have it. Buttery smooth for me with freesync so far in the cave network.
The graphics on the ultimate preset look good as well. Impressed also with the sound quality.
Gonna switch to the TV now though which doesn't have freesync.

Why play ultra when you're getting only 50fps? Have you followed the settings recommended by Digital Foundry as it seems a few of them barely offer you any visual performance so worth tweaking them rather than loosing frames for nothing.

Cutscenes are annoying in ultrawide.. blurry letterbox and not fullscreen 
But other then that runs super smooth and not getting no micro stutter which DF said there was..

I’ve got it on 80 too.
Yes. Not bothered changing any setting, game runs and look good so will leave it as is.

Well what can I say? It's all great for me so far 
60Hz monitor with Vsync on and I probably will be playing most of the game with an XB1 pad so this is all nice.

It’s the 16 minimums that are the killer.
That said, mine hadn’t defaulted to full screen, so it’s all good now.

I can see the hitching, even with G-sync and I even have some weird visual artifacts as well, like alloys feather when she is a child and the other kids hair all being weird.

How in buggery can you have 100 frames difference between min and max? That is not a good sign, surely.

Well I’m finally there. All high except model quality that I’ve set to ultra. Didn’t realise it wasn’t in full screen. Feels smooth. 16x AF in Nvidia control panel. Feels incredibly unoptimised, but I’m happy with it now.

I think it counts the initial loading frame when it all loads up and the fps reaches nominal hence the 16 because in actual motion I can't see it drop below 50 really but need to play properly to observe.

At least you've got textures.
I followed the df guide to force 16x antisotropic filtering in the Nvidia driver and I think it's messed it up.
Forgot how amazing the sound and music are in this game, maxed the settings out and did a quick benchmark, looks to be running nice and smooth for me.

For anyone trying to skip the intro, press Alt+F4 and click No. Not sure if this bugs the game, after doing it the Game+ mode disappeared and so did the benchmark option. Think I may be waiting for a patch or two.

The soundtrack and sound effects are indeed fantastic.
