Horizon Zero Dawn

I'm having no performance issues at all so far. 1440p on Ultimate settings.

Really enjoying it actually, already caught up to where I was on my PS4 play through in about half the time.

Anybody got a favourite machine yet?
 
I can’t help but get distracted in this game. Finding collectibles, doing side quests. I don’t think I’m getting very far in the game, but I’m having fun!

That’s what I’ve been doing. Shooting machines and boar, side quests and general larking around. Only on about the third mission proper.

Always been the Ravagers for me. So much fun to fight and use there cannon against them. Thunderjaw for obvious reasons as well.
 
Well, I've switched to M & KB and the game experience is transformed.

Just did one of those metal lair things. Yikes, that was a tough end. I think I need some better weapons. I’m still using the free ones from the start of the game. I’ve been saving my shards, so I must be able to afford some decent weapons. I’m not far off upgrading all the pouches too.

Somehow everytime I play I swear the game gets smoother. I now have everything on maximum other than clouds (I honestly can’t tell those settings apart) and it is super smooth. Not complaining!

I'm sure you know that Kinguin don't source keys themselves, they're a key reseller. They've got into trouble a few times for selling keys bought with stolen credit card details.

It runs surprisingly well for me on my all AMD laptop I’m just not as impressed as I was on PS4 for some reason. I really enjoyed the game on PlayStation but I’m just not on pc. I have no idea why either it is just not gripping me at all....
 
I haven't played much of the game yet but performance seems OK so far, running DF's optimised settings without forced AF as it causes lots of visual bugs. 80-100fps in most areas at 1440p on a 2080Ti, such a shame this game doesn't have DLSS

A few issues, framerate will randomly crash down to 20fps or drop off 30fps for no apparent reason, pressing escape, going to the settings will bring it back to normal but it's weird, also the sound seems quite low, I have really crank up the volume to hear everything clearly.

1080p here on a 2070S. About an hour in an no issues yet bar the flickering textures. Some of the cutscenes are lovely. Graphics aren’t blowing me away, I mean they’re good but not the best I’ve seen.
1080p probably doesn’t help but I need the high frame rate for other FPS titles.
 
Had to watch to opening cut scene four bleedin times (which is unskippable). Reason, when I tried to change to full screen it would not let click on the cross or tick and the timer froze :confused::mad:

True, but the way some people were talking about the graphics on the console version, I think some of us were expecting a little more as we have the ability to change resolution and settings.

HDR is done properly on the PS4 version I believe so that probably helped for those who played it on a decent TV back then.
