Horizon Zero Dawn

Looks like the release for this isn't too far off.
AMD will be including a download code with some of their Ryzen Processors which has to be redeemed by July 30th
 
Looking forward to this and finally finishing the game... I got 52% completion rate on PS4, then stopped playing. If they are giving away download codes with AMD gear then it should be imminent release now?
 
Pleased this is coming out but I've only just finished it on PS4. It is easily the best game on the ps4.

It's one of the best gameworlds ever created imo. The story is amazing, the combat great, characters good. It took me 82 hours and I could easily play another 82!

A lot or people who haven't really followed it are gonna be blown away by it's quality when it's released for pc!

Yea. Once I can pick it up a cheap steam key I will play it again. Very good game that deserves a place in my steam library :)

I'm looking forward to it for sure, I tried it on PSNow and it looks stunning but I cant play on consoles because I'm a total waste of space with a controller and need a M&K.....of course 120fps and a decent field of view will help as well.
 
How much comboing is there in the combat? I liked to play the batman and shadow of war games with a controller, the slower turning easily offset by easily being able to combo moves. But in general prefer mouse and keyboard. From what I recall there's not too much combo, but there is dodge rolling right?

Mele combat is the weakest part of the game and honestly the only negative I can think of. Most combat is ranged. You can (and should) sneak around human enemies for stealth kills, but Melee combat just consists of light and heavy attack with your spear.... It would be great if it were just a bit more refined. A block button would have been very welcome.

I think Guerrilla confirmed that they would not be allowing FOV changes as an option within the game...

Sounds like mouse and keyboard make most sense then. I'll see what's comfortable if/when I actually get round to playing it.
 
I have HZD on my PS4, but I was a little bit late to the party having only just bought it before Christmas.

Once it was confirmed for PC I stopped playing. I'd like to enjoy the (hopefully) better performance and IQ on the PC
 
I had bought the complete edition on the PS Store but never got round to playing it.

Now that its coming to PC I suppose there's no reason for me to play it on the PS4 anymore.

Would've never bought it had I known this was only going to be a timed PS4 exclusive. Same goes for my Quantic Dream Collection.

Oh really? Thats a shame as the hour or so I played on PSnow felt like I was in a tunnel.
Still as long as it running at an acceptable FPS (30 is not acceptable) and I can use M&K then I'll probably still consider it.
