Horse poop

Came off my bike thanks to some ungrateful **** leaving a huge horse dump smack bang in the middle of the road, just around a blind bend on Meaford Rd.. By the time I saw it it was too late, I was already on my way through the hedgerow and into a field via a barbed wire fence.

Why were you in the middle of the road?

Horse poo - nothing like dog poo. Not even comparable.

I hope you fall off your bike and land face first in a fresh dog crap as well.

So he s evil for saying it kills dogs but your all saying its fine and dandy and shouldn't have to be cleaned up because it doesn't hurt anyone!?

Don't you please think of the dogs and make the rich ******** clean up after thier horses.

No, he's not evil for saying it kills dogs. He's just a **** for saying it's a good thing.

How have you missed the vital part of that?

He's evil for saying it is GOOD that it kills dogs.

Horse poo is well known for its good qualities, makes excellent manure for the garden. Generally it does not pose a risk to the environment and animals in it, and dog poo does pose a risk therefor it should not be left.

Great so they can shovel it up and put it in thier garden. A foot path or a road is not a garden

Many paths and roads were built for horses to use long before bikes and cars came along so I understand they have a place there just as much as anyone else, however there should be some sort of law making it compulsory for horse riders to carry a collapsible shovel and they must put the poo out of harms way when their horse takes a dump.

I've seem some about a foot high!

Took longer than expected for a knee jerk class comment.

Not everyone with a horse is rich. But I suspect you know that and we're just going for the troll.

Cat owners are the ones that get away scot free in this situation. Ask them to clean it up and you get an earful of 'oh, it's a wild animal, you can't tame it'. Well, you shouldn't have a wild animal as a chuffin' pet then should you!

No such thing as a blind corner.

Only the blind confidence of those who go round them too fast to be able to stop in time should they come across some unexpected hazard.

The reason horse poop is not dangerous is because horses eat hay/straw etc.

Dog poop is made of meat etc, and this causes disease and bacteria which can be dangerous.

Cats have different "rights" under law to animals such as dogs. Although you may dislike it, it isn't the fault of the owner.

Whilst I think the OP's overall attitude stinks (badom-tsch) he has a point in some ways. Horse folk are weird. Very few of them are considerate enough to hang a crap bag on the animal to catch its droppings. As they are of the opinion (which is true to an extent) in that its a fertiliser and is good for the environment.

However, it hardly helps the environment when it's in the middle of the road does it :p

It would be nice if horse folk were more considerate to catch the crap and then at least dump it into the side banks or similar. But I can't see it happening.
