Horse poop

Fair enough if horse produce is not as bad as the dog equivalent, however, do both cases, regardless of animal, not fall into basic littering?

Using an example someone has already given, its harmless to rub butter of your face, am I allowed to go round dropping tubs of the stuff all over my local roads?

A friend of my girlfriend's is almost blind in one eye because of dog poo. Has been since he was a kid; he was playing in the park etc, someone hadn't cleaned up after their dog. But say this to a dog owner who hasn't cleaned up after Rex and they'll think you're mental.

I knew someone who went round dropping tubs of butter and pints of milk all over the place.

I used to think, how dairy!

I dunno about that, but the chances are that if they don't care about picking it up, they're a probably a ****** regardless of what they think of you.
What gets me are the ones that do pick it up and then just leave the bag on the floor. What's what about?

Where I live the habit seems to be put it in a little bag then tie it to a tree branch, rather than carry it home / to the nearest bin.

An animal is not capable of littering - basic or otherwise.

I get that dog poo "can" make you blind

But eyes are generally 4 foot+ away from the floor, so unless you horse crap lovers are crawling around on the floor everywhere you go then the argument is a little silly for why 1 type of poop should never be seen on a public path/road vs another

There's very little excuse for horse owners to not clean up their pets mess, especially when its a large mess that they make

The amount of bags i see in the bushes or trees is ridiculous. The grossest part of picking it up is done, they've done the dangerous part of tying the knot on a flimsy bag but they decided they cant handle it to the next dog bin which are literately everywhere...

Exactly. It's lazy, pointless and ridiculous. Turning it into an art form by hanging bags from trees is even more baffling...

On a side note, picking it up doesn't have to be that gross. I can't stand the feel of logs through a plastic bag, so I use a simple plastic grabber with the bag around it. They usually come with a box of poop bags.

We can't stop dozens of people being stabbed and killed in London, or the organised sexual abuse of girls up/down the country. I'm not sure outlawing horse poo should be the top topic working its way through Parliament.

Did you not see the council's using anti terror laws to state out people for dog fouling also round the clock home turbulence to check a kid is in the right school zone.

I **** you not

So are we suggesting that if a horse poops in the road on blind bend then the rider should go back and shovel it up?

Can see that ending well.

I guess that technically, a Horse on the public highway is a "Vehicle" rather than a "Pet", as such the poop represents exhaust product rather than general animal fouling.:p

One can get Nappies for horses. DPF's as it were (Dung Particulate Filter) and perhaps it is not too unreasonable to expect horse users to fit them for use in urban areas.

If you really want to go off on one about ****** streets though. It isn't horses that are the problem. It is Cows!
