What's it got to do with tesco.
These are big food factories that will supplie most of the supermarkets and other brand names. Tesco is just a buyer.

TESCO have stated on several occasion they can trace and ID all their meat, where it comes from, and exactly what it is.

This would suggest they either lied in the past, or have lost control of something they stated they could control.

They have used this line to not pull containated meat in the past when the HPA requested removal of all types of certain meat, Tesco claimed they knew their stocks were from a clean source, and didn't pull their meat. Their sales increased as a result of this.

Now they are selling unlabelled horse. This is a very big thing.

Horse is damn tasty! Chomped down on some in Sicily without knowing it at an outdoor street vendor.
