Much better weather lately, been ~20C and 'mostly' sunny up here this week and last. The hot temps we had in July were fine and all but i prefer it when it's consistently nice this.

The MET Office has had the Fife forecasts wrong pretty much all summer. Most of the time we've had sun when they've predicted rain, hot when they've predicted warm and vice versa etc.

No it's not. 20c is cold! Shutting windows at night and in trousers and socks is just wrong!
