Compiz Fusion. .. Not sure if it's called that now, but I think It's bundled with the Latest Ubuntu now as standard.

You get some effects as standard with ~Ubuntu for the fancy ones you need to install Compiz settings managr

I use a program called devilspie to remove window decoration and automatically place windows, i'm not sure if it's in the repo's though.

Well - updated to 8.04 and my onboard Intel graphics are no longer blacklisted so I can use Compiz

hehe. I'm so excited about the Android platform. I actually haven't bought a new phone yet because I'm just waiting for it to be finished.
