I've had it with EE.
I rang up for my PAC code recently (with T-Mobile) and I got put through to EE. The guy I spoke to gave me my PAC code and when asked why I was leaving, I told him I wanted to try out 3 with their unlimited 4G. After failing to convince me that their 4G was 'much better' he offered to send out a free SIM which I could use 500mb data on within 30 days, just to test out their 4G speeds around my home and workplace etc.
A few days later I started receiving letters saying thank you for setting up a direct debit and please confirm the details etc and then the following day a bill saying £5 will be taken out on such and such a date. The sneaky **** had signed me up to an EE data contract for £5 a month.
I've had to ring them 4 times since - each time taking almost 30 mins to get through, just to have this account cancelled and the fiver refunded, they are very incompetent. It's really put me off them permanently.
