How do you get rid of acne?

If you get really bad acne all over your body, your doctor may prescribe you 6 months worth of an antibiotic to reduce the levels of bacteria all over your body and skin. This is only if you have it all over your back, face and so on.

Acne is caused by bacteria, and how your body reacts to that. It has nothing to do with what you eat (ableit the extremes - if you didn't eat a vegetable or piece of fruit for weeks you may start to get spotty simply because your body isn't neutralising toxins or killing excess bacteria).

Again I'll just say how much good Apple Cider Vinegar has done for me, along with preventing spots it aso tends to 'pop' them when you use it as a toner, thus you don't need to damage your skin squeezing your spots.

Aswell as this, I've heard many people mention sunbeds, if you have red scarring like me then a slight tan greatly helps in having an even skin tone.

Also, I can't vouch for this product as I've never used it, but i was really tempted to buy one due to the 60 days money back guarantee - http://www.beautyskinuk.co.uk/index.php?gclid=CIKDkdHHzo8CFQFeQgod7XYe-Q

Best moisturiser to be used with panoxyl cream in my opinion is clean and clear oil free one. Very good quality stuff, leaves skin looking really fresh and healthy looking and counteracts the other creams peeling effect on your top layer of skin which makes it red and itchy.

I recently used the Clean&Clear Cream Face Wash, It really did clean up all the acne.
I then moved onto the Clean&Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash (Oil Free) which makes your skin feeling great, but results aren't as good as the Cream Wash.

I found washing my face with "Tea Tree Oil" in place of soap/shower gel got rid of it within around 2 weeks. Its only about £8 for a tub that will last you about 2-3 months too :)

Wont bore you with my life story - but besides prescribed treatments Dan Kern's regimen is the only thing worth doing. I'd recommend trying it if you're a mild-medium case.

If you follow it I strongly recommend the following products.

1. Dan Kern's 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (have to order from USA unfortunately)
2. Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel (fairly cheap, best cleanser I've used)
3. Eucerin Dry Skin Relief Face Cream (expensive but no other moisteuriser comes close)

It's not cheap, it's annoying to do, but it depends how much you value your confidence really.

I can't promote this stuff enough, I pretty much have spotless skin now, the scarring is also very minor now and fading.

£1.49 a bottle which lasts about 2-3 weeks.

1 - Soak face in warm/hot water for 1 minute, wipe face with some cotton wool dipped in the same water

2 - Place some Apple Cyder Vinegar in a bowl, get a new piece of cotton wool, run it under a cool tap, squeeze it dry as you can, soak it in the Cyder for about 10 seconds and just apply it all over your face.

3 - Smell like vinegar for an hour or so, don't dry/wash it off, just let it dry itself.

4 - ???

5 - Profit!

Roaccutane for the win!!! I had it 2-3 years ago, 99% of spots now gone.
The drug seriously reduces the amount of grease produced by the body, you get very dry lips and nose during the medication course, but when you stop, the body grease comes back but the spots dont.
No idea how it works but it does I cannot recommend it enough.

You can get 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide at places like Boots. Oxy On the Spot is the one I use.
