How do you mouse?

Claw grip with cheap Dell/HP mice. Used to buy expensive gaming mice, but none of them seem to last very long. Usually the buttons stop clicking and scroll stops working properly.

Whereas the £5 OEM mice I find on ebay seem to last so long all of the texture wears smooth. Yet to have one die

Weighing in at 48grams with the installed big skates, should be a few grams lighter if I install the dots.

Material is excellent, premium feeling, 50/50 weight balance front to back, wheel feels nice, buttons nice and clicky, nicer feeling than Pulsar opticals, 8K nano dongle is convenient but I use the main dongle as it has customisable lighting for battery indication etc.

Remarkable package and web software and performance for the money.

How much is it? After striking gold with that £30 Mad Lions Mad G (43g) web software etc, I’ve got a hard budget set for any future ones.

If I could get a mouse with lots of buttons and web config I could totally de-razer my PC.

Fair. Mines a budget one that happens to be very good (imo) and I got it from a.express. Some of these £100+ ones I just don’t get.

The Pulsar X2 CrazyLight was over £100, at teh time it seemed good value as it was still cheaper than Logitech's "SuperLights" that were at least twice the weight lol and felt nicer in the grip than the log backed low profile DeathAdder V3 Hyperspeed I had prior to that and the magnesium Pulsar which started to creak so I sold it.

Hopefully don't need to spend any money on a mouse again though after this.

Picked up the OP1 8K v2 raw edition last week, replacing my original OP1 8K frost purple. Saw it on OcUK's site and I've always liked Viscose's aim training videos and her playlists in Kovaaks so figured it would be nice to get that version, colour is nice too and my daughter is a fan of the pink!

The coolest thing is the inclusion of hot swap switches, nice way to try different feeling switches. The skates are also much nicer than on my original OP1 8k. Nice glide on both the raiden mid and the zero soft.

Shape is relatively similar to the NP01s-v3 but without that extra right side you get on the Vaxee mouse, I feel like both fit my grip style nicely and both are really comfortable to use. Clicks are insanely nice, SPDT is some sort of wizadry. Speed mode is nice for M1 (although using safe mode for M2 as I found a few games it was almost responding too quickly stopping me from going into ADS if I'd already put a bit of pressure on M2).

I've put the cable in the Vaxee bungee and it pretty much feels the same as a wireless mouse at this point. Hands down my favourite part of a wired mouse is never worrying about charging it, I feel like more recently I've gone back to wired peripherals (controller, keyboards, headsets and now mice) just to make things a bit 'easier'.

It does look like a great mouse, I’ve had good times with my Op18k v2. Unfortunately I am constrained to the SuperStrike clicks. Nothing else comes close for me.
I’ve heard that Vaxee bungee is fantastic. Far ahead of anything else. I have been tempted by it, but now I’m only using a superstrike there’s no need. My peripheral addiction is only sustained by mousepads and skates now.

Yeah, it's the one thing I really miss from the Superstrike. Just how nice and instant, quiet and satisfying the clicks were.

Every time I think I'm passed one peripheral addiction I find myself falling into another!

i like a mouse with an edge to the button, i rest my finger on the edge and no edge means i accidentally click all the time. i didnt realise this until i tried out a dozen mice.
