How I laughed

Eh?

I want to know the game where the feedback is so bad after you fire a shot.

The games I play, the feedback is instant as soon as I fire the gun.

Any FPS feedback might be instant but it's not realistic at all. Firstly the duration of the feedback is way too long secondly the actual physical impact is pitiful!

It lasts for a fraction of a second.

And its has enough force to do the job.

I think you're clutching at straws now.

nobody would play the game if they felt the true recoil of an L86 at full auto.

Have you seen the physical stature and age of your typical fps gamer ? There would be broken hands and wrists everywhere !

not a good idea.

No I've timed it they last about 1.21 seconds(yes this is how bored I get when playing consoles)

The force is laughable it vibrates FFS. If it was realistic the control would hit you hand with enough force to actually feel like a gunshot.

hmm lets see what have my friends managed to persude me to play on their ****ty platforms whan I've benn bored out of my mind that piece of carp halo series of games, Crysis, Battlefield 2, and a plethora of other First person games that I'd rather play on a PC.

You played Crysis on a console?

To add, console fps's online generally have aim-assist as well.
(Read assist, not auto aim).
Even that most popular console fps at the moment.

You need to read the edit in my post in it I state that force feedback in FPS games is badly implemented and pointless.

Well you've decided to edit your post to try and make your comment look less stupid, but seem to have just come off even worse.

"I shoot a weapon on screen & in real life weapon shot in real life almost instant feedback and result. However... on console instant result yet about a minutes worth of feedback for one split second shot hardly realistic or neccesary!"

That sounds like some kind of translated proverb from a Chinaman. :p

You seem to have have failed to grasp the idea, you are playing a GAME. It's not supposed to be totally realistic, it's supposed to be fun. Something like a vibration of a gun on a controller is quite satisfying and adds to the game experience, not to mention you actually have trigger buttons to pull on the 360 & PS3 (more so on 360 though).

If you are going to start to nit pick about why a rumble feature isn't realistic, we could be here all day discussing other aspects of FPS that aren't realistic either.

I havn't failed to recognise I'm playing a game the fact is if they want to add feedback at least make it more realsistic and less annoying thats how I view the feedback from FPS games as an annoyance!

Its seems that your hatred for consoles is so big, that anything they do will be an annoyance to you.

I don't hate all consoles just the ones that try to be PC's and fail... I'm quite fond of My NES, Megadrive & Nintendo Wii they're truely great gaming systems!

Yet you said earlier in the thread that you couldn't load up your old games anymore, because the graphics were so bad.

Yet another contradiction.
