How is everyone getting on in WoW TBC?

Yeah from 60-70 I earned about 3500g or something. Didn't bother saving for my epic flying mount, instead I bought all the Scryer rep items from the AH to get the epic dagger and shoulder enchant.

Was that doing normal quests/grinding or doing the instances a lot?

hit 70 within a week been clearing kara, gruuls lair, doom lord kazzak, and doomwalker weekly

just bored now same old stuff my sub finish on the 10th of may kinda glad dont feel like paying 8.99 a month for a grind fest tbh anymore

leveled during instances this left me with plenty of quests that gave around 8g at 70 so flying mount was fast to get

im going back to command and conquer, raither stick with free online gaming now

Same as above, got my human priest 60-70 in a week, cleared kara, cleared gruul, etc, got full epic, got bored. etc, etc, etc. Only fun i get is Pking people and messing with my RL mates on Vent.

Edit:

Getting raid spots is also a problem. We currently have 36 Members. We run two Kara groups. There are 5 active HEAL priests in the guild. Theres space for 1 priest per raid. You do the math. Arguments are quite frequent.

So for all Blizzard hyping up the expansion as bringing a new lease of life to the problem of raiding they've made it worse. Well gg. Glad I sold out last year. Lets hope there is going to be some innovation in the mmo genre with the next generation about to appear. Wow was good but was/is a victim of it's own success.

Same as other people on here, rerolled from my warrior and got my be pally to 70 a few weeks after it come out, done the whole of kara, grul etc and its the same old grind fest all over again ;/
As we only have 3-4 70 pallys in our guild raid spots isn't to much of an issue for me but the game just seems totaly boring now.
All I do now is check our raid signup's to see if I'm picked if so, log on do such and such raid and log off again straight after.
There are some nice new features sure but its nowhere near enough and the fact that blizzard do not listen to thier customers in the slightest doesn't help matters when it comes to pvp, class balance( what little class balance is left) etc.
I'm now catching up all the pc games and so on that I've missed since wow/bc first come out and loving it :)

Re-Rolled to Paladin, My main was a rogue which was a heavily populated class within the guild so it made sense.

Loving it tbh, Taken most of Karazhan, and Done Maulgar and Gruul, having a play with Magtheridon atm and people getting attuned for Serpentshrine Cavern.

Just got my Rogue to 70, and made him Exalted with Aldor, so I actually have a character I can kill stuff with now.. Holy Paladins are no good for grinding :p

My guild are finding the new system better as we are a very small group of RW friends, so while before we couldnt do any instances, now we can merrily do most.

At the moment I am lvl 70 and doing loads of PVP with my tauren druid and enjoying it. I might be wrong, but I did quite a bit pvp before TBC and I think the honour points have been increased to make it esier to get the epic gear. Anybody else noticed this?

I just started playing WoW properly (not the trial) on Friday. I'm not thinking of getting TBC atm. I'm currently a lvl 17 (almost 18) Undead warlock with a Voidwalker and an imp. And oh yeah, a black kingsnake lol.

And do you guys realise there are free private servers? So no £8-9 a month anymore.

It's easy to have enough money for a 60% flying mount just from doing quests between 60 and 70. My priest went to outlands with 100g, and had around 1600g when she hit 70. I don't really use the auction house and never grind instances.

I'm loving the expansion. My two level 60s are now 62 and 70, and I've got a blood elf at 59. We have a guild of 5 players, me, my boyfriend and 3 of his uni friends, so smaller group quests suit us a lot better. The pvp changes are great, as none of us want to be hardcore pvpers, but it means we can put in the effort to get a few items we never would have got before.

You have to remember that the guild im in was a Naxx guild with 50+ members at one point. Its only the old big guilds that have this problem really. New guilds should't get that big. But in reality you still need 30+ members to do 25mans, who decides which lucky 20 get to go Kara and who gets to sit out.

Its just the choice of 10 and 25 man, they just dont mix! Maybie 15 man and 30 man or 10 and 20.

Got my lock to 70 a while ago, started an arena team that has not been doing so good, got exalted with aldor and kurenal, just HH to go so I can get key for heroic, been working on my Hunter and got her to level 68 last night, don't know what I will do after she hit's 70.

Oh yeah and also I have a 67 Blood Elf rogue on Al'akir. I love Blood Elf, they look good and they have the best jokes...etc :D

"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"

"We're allied with the Tauren? FANTASTIC! We'll be having steak twice a week!"

"The problem with these horde characters is that they lack sophistication....*Parp*"

and the /flirt:

"Oh yeah baby come here and...HEY WATCH THE HAIR!" :D

I think its been great, able to get a lot of money quickly, i never settlled into a raiding guild in WOW, only really doing ZG ect, but with TBC, ive joined a raiding guild, cleared kara and just downed gruul... im loving it, its great

i restarted playing last week, made a undead mage, at lvl 28 atm, am going with this talent build click me so i have very high hopes. and to shamefully say, im really enjoying it, this mage has made me enjoy playing WoW again.

Just cancelled my subscription yesterday, the guild I had been in since I started playing lost a lot of members and it just wasn’t the same for me anymore. Had a well geared level 70 shadow priest (http://armory.wow-europe.com/#character-sheet.xml?r=Boulderfist&n=Richyfingers ), loved raiding and instancing in this spec but I really doubt id get another spot in a new guild due to the fact that I cant play very often and every priest wants to raid as shadow!

Since TBC launched i've...

- Levelled my Hunter (which was my main in WoW) from 60-61.
- Rolled a Shaman which I levelled to 51 and got bored.
- Done both the BE and Draenei starting areas, getting bored around 20.

Now i've just let my account freeze, not sure if i'll bother renewing it. It's going to take something big to get me to go back, like an overhaul of the graphics engine or something. WoW just looks so dated now, TBC has added nothing really except a kit reset, same people same ****. :(

I was unlucky in the sense that I hit level 60 about 1 month after TBC, ment all the guildys had gone from 60-70 together very fast where as I was left behind which was very frustrating, espically as people were not interested in running the lower level instances.

Have got my main my priest to level 68, 200k until 69 and 500k+ rested XP so should hit 70 this week, have numerous other chars that I play with, I am going to push my warlock currently level 26 hard after I hit 70 on my priest.

Love it,

Currently got a lvl 70 frost mage, lvl 70 holy paladin and a 64 druid. But im kinda bored of leveling my druid so ive started up a blood elf priest and blood elf mage :P

The new 5 man instances are the best, but i have not done a kara run yet though, still need BM.
