tbh I'd rather not spend any money on it

, and I'd rather it didn't take up any floorspace as it looked alright when I was about 13 but it looks ugly as sin now.

I got my PC, the best in the house. My dads work laptop, my dads normal 8 year old laptop and my dads really old desktop.

You can do a trial 3-month set up free fro MS and a backup WHS should be tucked away out of sight.

2 desktops - one in sig and a backup
2 laptops - old hp with linux and an xp netbook
2 servers - both running virtual pc's with various differnet os's and software on for work purposes.

1 Netbook (general use)

I am the only one who knows about computers, so when the parents feel the 3rd/oldest PC is too slow or dies they give me a budget and I build it. I get to keep the newest and hand my old one down. Kind of like a little flowing tree

In use I have:

2 Laptops (one for me, one for the wife)
4 Desktops (one for my work, a hackintosh *ooh naughty* for testing web site's under OS X, one for my gaming, one for the wife for her work)

And an HTPC which is still only half built.
