How many days off work do you get a year?

33... 35 after 10 years Service, + Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. These are on top of only actually working 208days of the year (With out using leave).

42 days of leave a year, that's it's, no public holidays and I have to BID for it the year before. If you take a week off off during the month they will generally just make you work harder for the next 3 weeks so they get the same amount of productivity by hours :/

This month I have 7 days off. I am an airline pilot, my days off are pretty much when the company decides they are.....

fo reals?

Are all airline pilot jobs like this or do you work for ryan air or something? I don't like this new knowledge. Now I'm going to be wondering how overworked and fed up my pilot is next time I'm flying lol.

30 + Bank Holidays. (Of which there is one more out here). (Worked 15 years)

Also have the option of passing over a maximum of 10 unused leave days if needs be. (I.e. If I use up 20 days leave a year, I can pass on 10 days to the next year. Cant go above 10 days, but dead useful every few years if planning a large family break.)

Got 43 this year because I carried some over :D

I also work flexi time so can take "flexi days". But no need lol. Been in the job 4 years.

Currently 22 + BH which I'd say is below average. Most places I've been start at 25 + BH plus more after length of service.

However next year I think we'll be moving to an unlimited holiday policy.

25 plus bank holidays, think it rises to 30 + BH after 5 years, though doubt ill be there that long. Take all my overtime in TOIL though so that tops it up nicely.

30 +bh currently, but the new role I'm starting in a couple weeks drops me down to 25 until I've been there a few years.

25+BH. Perfectly fine by me as I can normally get in 4 solid weeks throughout the year, then quite often do long weekends away for bank holidays. Also normally 9 days off at Christmas/NY if timed properly, using only 2/3 days holiday.

16 days plus 10 company holidays, which mirror most of the nationally recognized holidays. I will get 21 days after five years service (in 2 years) and 26 days after ten years (in 7 years).

I used to get 25 days + BH but I moved. I (currently) get less vacation now but earn more than 30+% more salary, and have much greater earning potential, so the move was well worth it for me.

I work in the middle east, so no unions! my friends on different fleets get a bit more, but we are worked pretty hard out here, by hard I mean to the legal limit! Land in the morning work at night, land in the morning work at night and land in the morning and work at night is not uncommon at all!

Pilots all around the world are worked very hard these days! You would be very surprised if you knew all the details I'm sure!

29.5 + bank holidays. Have to reserve 3-6 days for christmas shutdown though (depends how the days fall), not that we ever mind.

Carried over 4.5 from last year, so i'v got a nice 34 days to take this year and so far I've taken none :-o
