Too be honest I think a lot of people have selective memories when it comes to driving lessons. Most people take over 30 lessons.InsomniaCalls said:How did people on here manage to pass without extra practice in under 10 hours? I know it comes naturally for some people but thats just mad.
I've had 10 hours of tuition so far and am confident enough when I'm driving but I haven't covered all aspects of the course yet.
Did you all just have fantastic instructors?
Well for me, I spent a lot of time driving in fields and on private land. (learning clutch control, and changing gears etc... Oh and the odd bit of handbrake turn funInsomniaCalls said:How did people on here manage to pass without extra practice in under 10 hours? Freefaller said:I did 2x 2hr lessons, then took my test. I spent 6 months driving with my parents and friends. I learnt how to drive in my grandmother's fields, as well as other private land when I was a young teenager. It was just a question of learning how to pass the driving test really.

Who mentioned years? I just find it hard to believe the number of people here who passed in under 10 lessons, 1/4 of the average.[TW]Fox said:Maybe some people don't take years to grasp amazingly simple concepts? No need to get quite so sceptical, is there?
